Hello, my name is Kristian, I`m from Bulgaria but currently studying Hospitality Management in The Netherlands.Me and 1-2 of my school mates and poker buddies are moving to Thailand for a 6-month internship in Hilton Phuket in August this year.I am a live player and currently play 200/400nl as well as some live tournaments.I would like to make friends(sorry if it sounds gay, no intention of that) with some of the guys who are currently residing there so I can improve faster as a player, also because I wanna chill with people with similar interests.

I`m not sure yet whether I`d stay in the hotel itself or not, so if somebody is looking for 1 or 2 european roomies who are degen poker players but also know how to chill and party please drop me a PM so I`ll give you my skype.Basically, any poker baller from Phuket, seriously, drop me a line so we keep contact.

Kind Regards

Yeah, so I'm not too sure where you'll find the European hookers here, or hostesses, but I know you'll find a lot of european girls at the beaches in the South (Phi-phi, Krabi, Phuket, all the touristy places), and there are a few clubs that cater to the bitchy model scene in Bangkok, as well.

There are lounges where you can pay the girls to come sit and drink with you. I was at one a couple nights ago and it was actually the first time I've been to that kind of lounge. The girls were decently attractive, and you pay them by the drink at 200 - 300 baht, so not this ridiculous 100-250$ an hour I'm seeing. I'm sure if you want to set-up a little fun with the girl once she gets off work, that's completely possible and up to the girl.

If you want to hang out with the young, attractive Thai crowd, go to Thong Lor (bars like Jet, Curve, Demo, Funky Villa, Muse, and Nang Len will all be packed on weekends. Funky, Muse and Nang len are ussually full everyday and the girls are always plenty and attractive.) Funky Villa is my top choice, here. Good prices, very attractive young Thai women, live Thai band and hip hop music intermissions, good pick up spot because all the Thai guys that come here are too pussy to actually go up and say hi.

If you want to hang out with backpackers, go to Khao San - Gazebo is apparently a nice mix of models. Lava's got some eurotrash in there and a collection of backpackers everynight and there are some other places. Brick Bar has got some indy-reggae **** in there, lots of Thais, though.

Head to Bed Supperclub for Models night on Tuesdays I believe. Everyone there has their head so far up their ass, though, that if you don't act like a prick, you just won't fit in. Good music, but thats about it. Prepare to offend people from just standing or saying hi. This place is also in Nana... a big tourist and redlight district.

NarZ (Narcissus) - This place has a few levels and its a pretty big dance club. Lots of kids like to come here though (like... 15 -16 year old international students). I remember I was talking to this cute Swedish girl there. Things were going well, and we talked for quite a bit until I asked her how old she was - 16. I felt like WagenPedo Bear. There is a good mix of older people and high society Thais here, as well. Just be careful.

Here's some more: SINGHA great bars of the world

I say kick it in Thailand. You got the nightlife in Bangkok, amazing beaches and Eurogirls in the south, and if you travel to the North its pretty ****ing peaceful.

Can you kiss Thai prostitutes if I accidentally pick one up? Do you have to pay a ladyboy if you get home and are surprised?

the pope recommends kissing whores, and insists that you don't use a condom. i'm not sure how he feels about using condoms with ladyboys, as the church's problems with condom use are derived from their heretical prophylactic qualities and not their disease prevention qualities.

I don't know how they stand on not paying ladyboys, when they surprise you, but it would shock me if members of the clergy ever paid ladyboys unless they knew in advance

wait, where you christian and not catholic? you had two wives, so maybe you were mormon. really, this is a matter between you and your god.

completely off topic, you would have been more amusing if you at least pretended like you weren't a troll.

He didn't say he was going to build a 7/11, he said he was going to buy an existing one.

Nothing wrong with that and I would guess they would be profitable enough to live on, the only issue is the legality with foreigners owning Thai businesses.

It's really hard to make money in a very poor country. I recommend against it. Rules are set to make it hard for you and you will be paying more to do business here as a foreigner. A lot of foreigners come here and most of them go broke trying to do this. Very few get rich or even make a decent living.

For foreigners, there are restrictions on owning certain businesses like bars, but most other things are OK if they don't involve land ownership.

BTW, I think somewhere on StickmanBKK I read that one of the small Gogos/bars at Nana is for 1.5 million USD. It makes almost 450K/year - unverified number to be sure. Prices for these businesses skyrocketed in the last few years. 5 years ago the same place would've cost 300K...

Buy a gogo bar and rename it "Butterfly". Advertise the explicit connotation that you can take as many different ladies as you like and the girls won't get mad at you through loss of face. Hire/train the girls accordingly to make this a reality, maybe make the barfine slightly higher than normal to cover this bonus. Finally give me a cut, payable in either baht or bootie
