Re: Thailand returns

Are you sure you went to the right place?

We were on the far court.

After looking up the place we were and Red Bull X-park on Google Maps I'm very sure we were way off. It's a little embarrassing how much we missed, so to protect my own dignity I'm not going to say.

On a completely different note; John and I got a contact card from a guy who runs a futsal court about 3-5 min drive from the On Nut BTS-station in case you guys ever want to check out some other options...

PS: Awesome diagram!

PPS: Is it hard to find tennis-courts in and around Sukhumvit, and how much do they usually charge? We have our own rackets/balls.

PPPS: Same time and place next week?

Yeah, Sukhumvit 50.

Btw, if anyone for some reason feels the need to put together another game, be it soccer or basketball, before next Wednesday, just say the word and I'm in. I can't really speak for John, but I'm making a qualified guess that he would be in too.

lol you gotta post how far off you were. Preferably in mspaint form .

We used to play at the futsal court by on nut but that place is just a giant heat trap so we switched to the redbull one.

Fletch, ldo.

Ryu, what were the names of the g club you were recommending last night?

Re: Thailand returns

I wish there are public legal thai massage parlors here in the states, I would probably go every night, of course with the thai beauties, not those old azz.

That is what is so sick and so cool about asia.

I love it.

Is Asia really that cool?

Why is it that I constantly feel Asians are lame and their cities bland ...

Re: Thailand returns

Has anyone tried getting a VAT-refund for whatever when leaving Thailand?
I'm supposed to go to the computerstore and get a new receipt for the laptop I bought (you cant get a refund unless you bought it within 3 months of leaving) but if it's a ton of hassle at the airport actually getting the money back I can't really be bothered, altho it is 7k...

Yeah, it's pretty easy. You have to take the receipt to a desk BEFORE going through customs. This is somewhat near the baggage storage and the bathrooms near the check ins. After that you take your receipt to what looks kind of like a money change counter past customs and near the gates.

they have quite a few of them around the Microsoft (eastside of Seatle)area. It's a great business model they run. Take the second and third stringers out of the Thai brothel/gogos, import them to a place with many single men with lots of expendable cash, and provide mostly lousy service while charging an arm and a leg.
