Exerpt from Star of Light review.

"The disturbing images of horrendously naked fat hairy 300lb tourists getting their nipples, balls and **** sucked by a team of slurping Star of Light girls I wish I could remove, but they are burned in my psyche."

Pattaya vs Bangkok.

Which of the two places would be best suited for a few weeks of total degeneracy? I've done some research and found that Pattaya is a blast and that Walking Street is something that has to be witnessed at least once.

OTH, I've read Bangkok has more stunners and soapies, and that most of the tourists in Patts are old pervs(not that I have anything against an old perv )

Perhaps sampling both would be best?

Few questions ...

Who has seen the Top Gear Vietnam Special? How feasible would it get to pull off such a journey with 2-3 friends across Thailand for 2-3 months in the summer (July - September) Anybody done it? (Rent motorcycles and cross the country).

Regardless, I wanna move to Thailand. Taiwan sucks. How would I go about joining a 2p2/poker house? Suggested cities (not too big, good nightlife, not too small, not too touristy, scuba diving, muay thai classes, near beach)? Anybody wanna be my friend?

Renting a motorbike: do I need an international license or will my passport suffice? Cash deposits required?

Bring cash and I'd be surprised if they even asked you what your name is.

Are you in Phuket? I've doneso there and it's totally worth it (I can't remember how much it was). I think they take a piece of ID or something at collateral. I've never tried getting one in BKK tho because I love life and don't want to lose mine.

it depends on the place what they want. some places dont even want to make contract, some demand your passport to be left with them. obviously dont.

i have never left any cash deposits for rentals, just my EU licence a few times or a copy of my passport with my address and phone number

rentals for long time are from around 2500 to 4000 baht depending on which bike you are renting with some old steps probably being cheapest and airblades the more expensive

god damn, thats fkn cheap.

as an american do i need a motorcycle license to rent a bike? just have normal driving license ... scooter would be alright i guess -_-;;;

how would I go about joining a poker house after my travels? there must be a gangload in phuket?

the renters dont give a **** about you having a licence. all they care about is money. police might be interested in your licence though. and i say might because most of the time, in phuket atleast, they just want to see some ID and let you go. officially you need international drivers permit or thai drivers permit.

those prices i mentioned are for fully automatic bikes.

i think there are more people in bangkok now than in phuket. i dont think there are any poker houses but some people might have empty rooms in their mansions

Dont worry about having a license, the rental buisinesess dont give a **** and if the police catches you the worst thing what can happen is that u will have to go to the police station to pay a 300 baht fine. With the recieve u can go back and get your motorboke and drive on, at least thats what happened to me in phuket.

There arent any rentals in bangkok as far as I know.
