Sometimes he loses login info when crazy girls steal his computer and whatnot (seriously has happened, lol), but seems like a looong time for him to be out with zero contact - and noticed he hasn't posted here in forever as well. He's welcome to blow us off, just want to make sure he's alright. tyty

Gabe has been out of contact for month now and has been living in Pattaya, Thailand with quite a heavy party lifestyle. After staking him for over 2 years, We've confirmed through mutliple mutual contacts that he decided on his own to end our staking deal and steal all of our money left in his accounts, as well as not pay back any makeup while he grinds on his own now.

He currently owes us $7,486.34 and the community should be advised to be extremely weary of doing any transactions with or staking him.

Just a heads up as I know he posts in this thread most often and knows quite a few people here irl.
not defending stealing from stables or anything, but you don't do yourself any favors with obvious duplicity in your initial post

What make you think people don’t have enough savings to live few years without income ?

honestly he's the last person I ever expected to steal from us. I know he's made some frenemies in the asia threads but he's always been a stand up guy and has a super good work ethic for years. Wasn't the first time he's disappeared for weeks on end with no contact and figured he'd at least reach out. He's friends with plenty of people here so just a fair warning before doing business with him - he might be taking all he can before getting out of poker for good

Bro I'm about to be good for 15months with my shady volunteer visa. Enjoying the 50%+ discounts on hookers and blow with no tourist around

I agree 2nd wave incoming. You guys should be planning your trips to Mexico because Thailand not letting you "dirty farang" in anytime soon.

I am thinking about getting an education visa to do muay thai for a year if things clear up a bit after the rona. I would have to pay about 900-1000 euros for the year and go to 80% of the classes. Is that easy or there is more things?
And what city/place would you guys recommend to stay in terms of what school to choose and things like that.
Thanks in advance

Haven't heard of ED visa for Muay Thai, at least in Chiang Mai, so wrt your question about which city to choose, that would depend on where the gyms/schools that offer that visa are located.

If it works as a language school visa, you would have to go to immigration every 90 days to get a stamp on your passport and that's pretty much it.

To be honest i don't care too much about muay thai, I just prefer it over learning thai because i like to workout and do sports in general.
But if other options are better I'm down with that

Muay Thai is a legit Visa as far as I know.
Also any foreign language is accepted but the school may not be as cheap. So instead of learning a worthless language like Thai (if you don't plan on living here long term) you can learn Chinese, German, French, etc...

They can't even teach English.

In Thailand looking square and professional and sucking up to higher ups and giving them bribes, kickbacks and gifts > skills.

do you know of a legit place to apply for muay thai?
And yes, that's exactly what i don't want to learn thai, is just not very useful.

Yes, There are Muay Thai Visas and also Hand 2 Hand Combat Visas. The H2H are usually at "Self Defense" schools which specialize in getting visas for students. The Muay Thai visas are not available at every academy. The school has to be accredited with the government to give MT visa. Most dont bother. The big schools may have them but there usually limited in how many they can give and alot of the time the team fighters get them first. I emailed the Thai consulate about two or three months ago to ask what kind of ed visas are being accepted for the COA. They told me only formal higher education visas were only being accepted at that time. Language/H2H/MT were not getting the COA to enter the country.

P.S.
I have a friend w an Elite Visa and apparently hes having alot of trouble now too. If the dam Elite visa isnt working, my dreams are crushed. lol

only spouses or thai people, those with work permits, medical tourism, or a small amount of Thailand Elite visa holders are allowed to enter atm.

lots of talk about allowing tourists to phuket or samui as the borders are fairly easy to control. i doubt anything significant will happen before the end of the year.

a little bit of thai is quite useful. don't have to learn the whole language just basics how to get around, food, numbers, etc.

I was just saying if you don't plan on living here long-term I can understand not wanting to do an immersive course.

Not at all, most thai-western relationships are fine, if you need proof look at the thousands of farangs happily married with thais living all over the country for decades with kids, properties in common, etc.

This is just a toxic relationship between toxic people that tbh, can happen anywhere in the World (in LatAm probably he wouldnt have got a cut in the finger but a bullet in the head). Also, not sure what outcome this guy was expecting when marrying a teenager whom he fights all the time and has nothing in common with.

Nice try tho.
