Yea, I’m inclined to agree because of the pricing. The food and service was good so I don’t feel terrible about it. It was a last minute decision because I suck at planning.


If anyone has food recommendations around Nana/Asoke let me know. I eat all kinds of food. Going to eat Thai BBQ tonight. I read “The Local” is very good Thai food and I tried pizza at Pizza Pala Romana and it was good.

Go right across suk from Nana to the Arab soi. Lots of delicious food there.
Also Indian food in Bangkok and fantastic.

For steak the best way to do it is go to Gourmet Market under emquartier(best selection of all the gourmet markets) they've got tables u can pick out your own steak and side from the butcher they'll cook if for like 60 baht. Dont get any cuts worse then Wagyu the Thai Wagyu is ok, Aust is better, and Japanese is the best.They have numbers for the grade of beef the higher the better. Looking at like 1k-2k a steak on average depending on size and quality. The cheaper cuts then Wagyu are crap like 4/5 times.

Smoking pug is really good for American BBQ. The new resturant isnt far if u just grab taxi to it. Din Tai Fung is one of my favorites one in central embassey and I believe they just opened one in Terminal 21. Its Taiwan soup dumplings, the pork ones are the standard really good. Also the beef noodle soup is awesome.

If you download Eatigo app you can find hotel buffets during the week like 40-50% off. If you go to the good ones its a amazing experience usaully like 700-1500 with discount.

I have cockroaches in my room. Until today I had only seen them in the bathroom and they were baby roaches but I killed a full sized one today. I guess I should request a room change. Staying 2 more nights here.

Praying they haven’t gotten into my bags. My friend saw a roach in his car during a poker trip we were on. There were hundreds of cockroaches in his car. It took so many roach bombs to finally kill them all. We didn’t drive his car the whole week because we just kept bombing it everyday.

Don't go shining a UV light on those bedsheets either

Only stayed in Nana once or twice, but think it’s pretty much a lock you’ll have roaches along there unless you get lucky.
