Iam going to make a visa run to Siem Reap and before booking a flight i am trying to find an information about how long would that visa process take I am planning on flying there on Sunday and flying back on Friday evening Will it be enough time for them to make it without charging me double or triple How much should it cost(regular price)

Anyone know a reliable agent/tourist agency in Siem Reap?

'I stayed at Saem Siemreap hotel and the hotel organised it through an agent that they used. The cost was 75 USD for 3 day turn around.' https://forum.thaivisa.com/topic/943...mment=11172531

Anyone know if they have anything like a MacArthur "Genius Grant" in Thailand?

Also, is there a way to get a 1 year Ed Visa for studying Buddhism? Would I have to arrange independent study with a senior monk and submit the paperwork for approval or something?

Is there any cons of getting new single entry visa from Laos, Vientiane by going on my own and not using visa service or any other services?

Considering flying to Udon Thani or taking bus from Bangkok.

I've got 2 land border run stamps, but crossing land border with single entry visa don't count as 3rd time right? Only stamps matter? Up to 2 stamps in a year is limit if i remember right.

Yes it doesn't count, but you have to book an appointment a few weeks in advance. I just got back and didn't even get a visa as the next appointment available was in 3 weeks.

There are the guys selling queue no's outside ranging from 1k to 4k, but I heard of some people being denied visas or getting red stamps if they couldn't verify their booking. Not sure if true or not, but I chose to not buy one in the end.

Bummer to leave without a Visa but in the long run probably the reservation service will be more convenient.

Yeah, I was on the fence of whether to buy a queue no or not, but a no for the next day was 4k so decided to skip. Not paying 7k total for 3 months. Jspill was right though, cheers btw. I had no hassles at the border, and got 30 overland.

I do think the appointment process will be better as it wasn't as busy as when I'd gone previously.

We have a 4bedroom Poolvilla in Phuket, very nice place and perfect for people to grind.

Sadly we have to leave after just 8 months so theres 4 months left on our contract for May, June, July, August. Looking for people to take over our contract, can send pics and/or visit anytime. Owner says a follow-up longterm contract would be highly preferred by him, should you guys wanna stay longer, so you can make a new longterm contract with him for sure. Rent is 70k THB/month, PM me for anything else.

Well then I'm ****ed. Already bought flight ticket to Laos. At least i get 30 days if i fly back to Don Muang next day if they don't decide to **** me and deny entry.... I've stayed like 8 months in a row now (last 2 stamps from Myanmar).

Btw which one is more strich Don Muang or Survanabhumi?

If I overstay can i still use domestic flights for traveling?

@botzilla you should be fine if u get a flight back, maybe stay for a week or so, but doubt it's much of a concern if u have 20k and onward flight.

Can also try your luck and buy a queue ticket ofc, but the guy I know there said the earliest gtd queue no he could get me was in 2weeks and was 2k. I didn't get a good feel from the other offers I got, but know 2 guys who did get sorted the next day although they paid 4k. Best to just fly to BK in your situation imo. If you intend on staying in Thailand, book an appointment and go back in couple months.

There's a recent report about getting denied entry at Don Muang and flown back to Laos, guy had only stayed about 5 months and had 20k+ baht on him and onward flight, others posted that same happened to them

https://forum.thaivisa.com/topic/108...-at-don-muang/

Laos airlines flies to Suvarnbhumi, that'd be better or use the land border, it's max 2 entries per calendar year so if one of your 2 stamps is from 2018 it should be ok

Yes
wow thats aids has the 20k and denied.

i just got sent away from, the thai consulate in hcm. had everything on me for the tourist visa. she flipped through my passport then told me to come back at another time with printouts of airplane booking in and out, printout and filled out visa form (would not give me one there to fill out). its crazy ive been here over 6 months so i thought my overstay before would be no issue.

whats the cost for the normal 30 day visa you get with u.s passport on arrival at airport?

get thai elite and you'll never have this problem. tourist visas are for tourists. don't ruin it for legitimate tourists.

I'd printout airplane bookings from bestonwardticket.com and try with those the next day. Can print out tourist form here - http://www.thaiembassy.org/phnompenh...715-619398.pdf

30 day stamp is free
