Has anyone come to Thailand from the United States and got back on PokerStars? I'm looking for help on the process.

I'm not specifically from the US, but the process of changing your account location is the same from everywhere. You'll need a bank statement or utility bill that shows your address in Thailand. Some people photoshop it, but you may as well get a bank account here if you can anyway.

Does anyone know of a massage parlor in BKK, Phuket or Pattaya where the girls wear silk robes like this?

Hello guys,

After 2 years in phuket, I just moved to Bangkok with another friend. We just rented a nice apartment very well located in sukhumvit 13. We are both French (25 and 27 years old) and we are looking for a 3rd flatmate. The apartment is a modern 220 sqm apartment with 3 large bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
It is very well equiped and there is a swimming pool and a gym in the building. We live at the 5th floor.

The rent is around 22,000 TBH with everything included (internet, electricity, water). We are outgoing people, we like to party but we are also focused on work. I grind MTT and my friend CG.

You can add my LINE rome.bkk or Whatsapp +33616360138 if you are interested so I can send you all the pictures.

Thanks

I am planning to move to phrom phong, nana or asoke area when my contract ends at the end of April. Can someone please give me some condo recommendations? Is it possible to get a place in these areas for like 10-15k that is not a ****hole?

I know proximity to the bts is everything and thai people hate to walk "long" distances. Hell they will even motorbike for 400 m sometimes. For me it is not problem to live like 10-15min walk from the bts in order to get a better deal on the condo. I do not need a kitchen or 2 rooms or a gym to be honest. This sounds ******ed but what I am looking for is a place that kind of looks nice, can have pretty minimal furniture, desk and a decent chair, shower that is not complete "surin style" and a strong policy against bugs. If I see a cockroach I want be able to go downstairs and make them spray the room immediately, since I am terrified of bugs. Would much appreciate help guys

I paid 15k at the Trendy condominium soi 13 on a year lease, but it did have a problem with bugs. Also at Omni Tower soi 4. Both buildings have Indian restos attached downstairs, that might be why. And were quite old buildings. You'd be better off if you can up your budget to 17-20k, somewhere like 15 Residences, or Viva Sira soi 39. Eat 40 baht meals at Terminal 21 food court a lot to recoup losses.

Hey guys!

Please let me introduce myself, I'm Thomas from the Netherlands.
As I got into poker way too late (2012), it only makes sense that I'm going to jump into a poker adventure in Thailand way too late as well. During my study I always grinded the lowstakes as a side job and did allright on them 20% ROI over 20k+ games. After following the preconceived path (graduation, girlfriend, pet, 9-5 job) poker was still playing a role in my life. I'd be using my holidays for live poker trips to Dublin, yet I didn't play online that much (only weekends) as I believe grinding (low/midstakes) online is heavily -life ev while having a 9-5 job where you are already behind a screen all day.

I've got myself a pretty solid buffer (especially for Asian standards) and have decided that I want too get max life ev out of my life. Therefore I'll make a bold move and will travel to Thailand too play poker and enjoy life. I don't make myself any illusions that this will make me a lot of money, however if I could get a lot of cool experiences while grinding breakeven ish with poker I would already be pretty satisfied. I'm talking to a potential staker next week, this would give me the ability to use my personal buffer for living only. Doing something like this has always been in my head, and I'm absolutely thrilled to make it happening.

I consider myself a pretty down too earth guy and first visiting Thailand I would like to experience some parties. However in the long run I'd like too live a healthy life with lots of good food, meditation and poker. I would like to join a grindhouse at a certain point, I know there are Skype groups for Thailand. Would anyone be kind enough to get me in those groups? My plan is to first travel around and after decide where I want to live. However pretty safe too say that beach is a must.

you are lol69's wet dream, he's been waiting for you for months (you'll understand soon enough) I don't think poker houses are a thing anymore, so doubt you'll find one especially if you want to be near beach. Most people here will tell you to stay in BKK or Pattaya, but if you want beach live in Samui. Good luck and enjoy Thailand
