I hear the base is pretty nice but the rooms are small.

I stayed at VT6 on a visit this year for the first time it was more like 50 a night but it was was really nice. Has like its own village inside the condo with multiple massage shops, stores, and the room i had had a nice view of walking street and the ocean from my balcony. Great location next to central festival obv the base also has a great location.

Yeah certainly not big. 1BR is 29 sqm

There are studios at VT6 that are bigger than that (48sqm) but it depends on the furnishings as to how nice they are.

The Base / Centric Sea are newer buildings and 'fancier' but like all fancy condos they try to cram in as many units as possible, rooms are small and overpriced just because there's a picturesque rooftop pool / garden.

The Base has basketball though which is cool

Anyone send large(ish) quantities of cigerettes from Thai back to UK?

Spoke to someone last night who does this, via the cheapest non registerred post which doesnt require you to provide your address or passport. He send 10 packs/parcel and packages them in the square boxes brought outside the post office. He sends 10 of these/day. He stated 98% of deliveries arrive.

Trying to work out the full risks and if its worth it, or too much hassle/risk. Advice appreciated.

Probably not worth it because the tax man can hit you with some ridiculous law breaking that would be equal to a cargo container worth of UK priced ciggs.

Stick to shipping H from Cambodia. At least the risk reward is more balanced.

Cigerettes in UK are about £10/pack (450 baht) off the top of my head.

The tax man would not know I have sent them as there is no sender information on basic postage, plus each package is only 10 packs of cigerettes.
