Because that is actually a pure freelancer bar, they even line up in straight lines standing along the walls. Down some random steps into a basement, not much signage, normal girls have never heard of it.

Not sure why it's hard to understand, Insomnia is a very prominent disco (not a bar) on a walking street, a huge pedestrianized tourist attraction, girls go there just to giggle at the dildo stalls, ladyboys grabbing foreigners, etc. Just like they go to Soi Cowboy to see all the neon signs. And if you put a huge obviously signposted disco in the middle of Cowboy on the ground floor with no cover charge, non hookers would wander in too. Especially if, like Pattaya, BKK didn't have many other disco options, and if it's the weekend.

Length of stay, lifestyle, size requirements (fine with a 30sqm shoebox studio?) etc. are needed.

For anyone who has spent reasonable time in Pattaya and Phuket, what is the infrastructure like in Phuket compared to Pattaya? I have lived in Samui and Pattaya and Pattaya is way more developed. Where does Phuket fit in with regards to Western amenities, shopping centers, etc ?
