you'll just have to cut down a lot on stuff and find a cheap place to stay, or in my opinion, the better thing to do is find a coach to help you out on the poker area
Psssh for full time private teaching in language schools ( inlingua, ecc and so on ) the average is 50-60K, native speakers with a degree, telf and who can make students sign again for another course when the first is finish. ( 1h40min class is 760 five a day 21 days a month is 80k)
In crap schools with an agency 30k to start is the norm, 35k to 75k without one the norm is very vague there are tons of different kinds of schools.
If you have a teaching degree 70K if a normal starting salary in a good school, but you have to adapt a lot to the thai way it's easier said than done.
Smart people do school + private ( evening, WE ) 70K after a few months is not too hard if you are a good teacher.
Right now i'm averaging 60k without really pushing ( 44k school, about 16k private ) on the private students gigs ( it's also harder to find private since I teach french. I reckon a workaholic could make 90K but it's hardcore.
Please notice that to make money in Thailand teaching you have to
like teaching.
Wrong plan for just a " i want long holiday" type imho.
Just a bit tired of the "30k a month teacher myth"
