last year I saw a katoey pickpocket a japanese guy on the Suk in BKK, i immediately tried to tell him and he acted like he thought i was gonna mug him or something. If he knew English he'd still have his wallet.

yeah. we were walking down the street by asok bts and a bunch of ladyboys swarmed us and hauled their fake titties out. i plowed through, but africano was his usual cheerful self trying to get as much enjoyment out of the situation as possible. 5 min later, he realized his wallet was gone

Going to buy 4 desks and 4 ergonomic chairs for the house today... places to look so far on our list are MBK and Central World. Any other BKKers know of good places I should be sure to check out?

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh,

Ok so Blake and I are apparently looking into living in "service apartments" that are actually hotels???

Some main ones we're looking into are: Grand President, Royal President and Citadines... all on soi 11.

Apparently the rent is somewhere between 70-90K for a two bedroom for both of us.

My only question is: Does anyone have any experience with this stuff? I can't find any pics on their website for their "2 bedroom apartments" so it's kinda wierding me out a lil bit....

Same spot below the stairs, a lady(boy?) grabbed me, then grabbed my wallet and tossed it on the pavement into the shadows. I always pat my back pocket in these situations though, so I noticed right away and got it back. That's the only time in two years it's happened to me.

Yeah but while you focus on your front they might slip a finger or worse in your back entry.
You should be careful.

I just don't bring my wallet, just folded notes in the pockets cellphone is always in vibrating mode next to my **** so if it moves I feel it.

i was watching bangkok dangerous and a random white guy had his front pocket slit open by a pickpocketer. this city is wild!

Didn't you have some Thai friends? There's some road that has a ton of shops with nothing but desks/chairs with really great prices, but I have no idea at all where it was. Gonna probably end up paying way more than you should at MBK or central world. I picked up a great quality thick executive leather chair for 3500.
