Dace not sure if you were being serious or not, but don't think thats worth banning or even infracting over. Do think it's kind of annoying considering they all speak English though.

If it becomes a big problem I guess I'll bring it up to some of the higher ups.

It is super annoying. They know English and speak in French on a ENGLISH forum. At least take the French into the low content thread. At least most the members can understand swimmins dong storys which are also confined there now.

If you use the thread search function for 'koh samui rentals' there's tons of rental companies and facebook groups listed.

Have I broken the world record for being the first time in Thailand ever and not seen a single beach after 45 days?

It would be record if you live in phuket, pattaya or Samui. Its difficult to see beaches if u stay in chang mai , bkk or isan

This thread has tons of different languages spoken between everybody. This is a forum in English and everybody knows English here. If all the Germans, Russians, French, and whatever other languages in this thread used had small convos between 3-4 people to communicate in chosen language for multiple posts the thread would become unreadable quickly.

Good chains in term 21 of course Fuji, Bon Chon my two fav of those. Tim Ho Wan is ok for dim sum. I much prefer Din Tai Fung for Chinese but they dont have one in term 21.

If you take a quick walk down the street big mamas Italian is pretty good. The pizza is solid for a Thai pizza and they have some great pasta. They also do Thai food they have a Thai restaurant next door which is owned by the same people so you can order from two menus. I'd suggest ordering the spicy beef salad with fresh chilli they give you a huge pile for the price and its yummy.

Thanks for your imput .... no one here would figure that one by himself and do understand that you're mind is quite limited about learning and enjoying other cultures

Yeah, but he is pretty much right. English is still the most commonly agreed upon default language to be spoken in the world. That may change in the future, but for the moment it's still English.

Also if it does change, it's not going to change to French. Just being honest.

How does you guys speaking in French help me learn about your culture? I'm really failing to see what I learn from reading French small talk I dont understand.

Also I visited Paris when I went to Europe in DEC and learned about the culture. A city of snobs, cig smokers, overrated, and expensive food. Good deserts though I give it that. Then again I'm under the impression you guys are all French Canadian not from France so maybe theirs a culture in Canada I havent learned about yet!
