by everyone i guess you mean the phuketcrew, think most are arriving just before new years and will stay in the sukomvit area, most in dream hotel soi 13ish.

i just stayed in fraser suites soi11 wich was pretty awesome but kinda pricy, the premier rooms are really big, kitchen, living room, bedroom with sofa and tv area. great pool/sundeck. 300b a day for internett.

oh yeah internet at the dream is free and reliable also.

I am pretty sure the prices are escalating though, when i booked it was 80USD a night for 5 nights over new years but now it's significantly more i believe.

similiar issue in Denmark except with charter flights. I booked a charter flight directly Copenhagen -> Phuket. It's possible the same thing applies in the UK?

One of the downsides is you have to book a return flight, but if you book it like a week or two before going it's really cheap (coz they need to fill the planes), so you just use only one half of the ticket.
Another downside is a charter flight is guaranteed to be packed with idiot tourists who are drunk out of their minds and possibly will start food fights, fist fights, assault personnel and other types of stuff that forces you to stay awake for the 12 hour journey.
I think you will rarely experience this on a regular route flight to Bangkok and then to Phuket.

Have a nice trip whatever you choose

After u click it should fill in the destination for u then all u have to do is choose dates. But apparently those 100 000 tickets are gone cuz i'm not seeing any free flights.

Can anyone give a recommendation of a nice hotel in Chang Mai to stay for 3 nights in early Jan.

I'm paying for like 4 people in total so I don't want it too expensive (nit imo). Something around $50-$80 per room per night. I've never stayed in a hotel in chang mai before so I really have no idea which ones are nice or not.

Thanks!

edit: something cheaper than $50 and nice will do as well, obviously

you can play on party poker, using a VPN, which basically gives you an european IP address, and you can play wherever with no problems at all

party is now open in thailand anyway, so the vpn is not needed

---Sweet i'll be partying in Bkk last week in jan. then meeting up in patong beach phuket!
All i'll be arriving w/ in terms of documentation is a passport, and a return flight ticket within 30days, (a ticket in which ill obv switch to 2+months later, but idk what else to do bc i guess coming from the usa u need to show them a return flight if u only have passport?)

-Would it be difficult to get a first time visa in the first few days upon arrival in Bkk, for 3 month+ stay, or is this not gonna realistically happen b4 the 30 days that a passport allows?

(can't get that double entry visa here in us shipped in time b4 the flight)

Yea thats what vpn is for. From what ive read some sites will let you log in, other you'll need to have a different countries ip address, ie a vpn.

Im very poor on computers and have a few questions sorry if they have been asked before or are v simple

· So ipoker, FT,stars are blocked from Asia?
· What would happen if you logged in without using a vpn?
· Why is party allowed, I thought it was a strict no gambling online policy
· Where the hell does your vpn say your from?
· Do you guys feel safe with your money on these sites?
· Do Americans use this vpn to play on euro sites?
· Has there been any problems with anyone regarding this stuff before?

tyyyy

- some ipoker skins yes, ftp and stars no
- nothing you would just not be able to connect to the server
- i guess they changed it recently, no idea why now yes, and before no
- depends on your vpn server, you can buy one from almost every country, the ones from Germany and UK are the most popular ones, because they are pretty well rounded purposed
- if you mean, the big skins, yep why not?
- I guess some do, but, remember when you have to send over documents, like an electricity or other tool bill to verify your location, it will require some work and difficulties, but I guess some do play on it, but haven't got 'verified' thoroughly yet
- not that I know of

I maild Neteller after i read your post i got this :

"Dear Mr. XXXXX,

Thank you for your e-mail.

I am sorry you were misinformed about accessing your NETELLER account from Thailand.

Thailand is a restricted country and we cannot offer service to anyone in that country or anyone while they are in that country.

Although if you have a Net+ card you would be able to withdraw funds at any ATM in the world that is supported by MasterCard."

Im also Neteller VIP...

Yep, same here:

Quote:
Thank you for your email.

Unfortunately we don’t service Thailand at this time. Any attempt to access your account from Thailand would automatically close the account.

Some customers use their account without login into it. They access their account on merchants’ websites and initiate transactions on their NETELLER account from there. That’s possible as long as your NETELER account is open.
But it seems you can use it without login in ...
