any experiences of muay thai training facilities?
From googling it seemes there are many places that have houses, so you can stay there and train for weeks/months, etc....

http://www.tigermuaythai.com/

stuff like this ^^^

Also, is one able to work out (general) at a gym or so? Stuff like:
Wight lifting
Basketball
Swimming
etc....

Lastly, is the nutritional intake similar to USA? Or do you get less/more calories, less/more cholesterol, etc...

i trained at phuket muay thai camp near kata. they have cheap housing on site but you don't have to stay in there to train at the camp. you can sign up for a month, a week or day. they train 6 days a week twice a day. probably the most intense workout of my life.

Yeah ongame cash balance does wierd things from time to time but it goes back to normal after a while.

Also, you can`t keep accurate hand and results details bacause a good % of the hands gets corrupted at the client's database.

Thailand to issue new immigration card

BANGKOK: -- A new immigration card will be introduced for use by those going in and out of Thailand by the end of this year, said Immigration Police chief Pol. Lt-Gen. Chatchawan Suksomchit.

Holders of the Immigration Card will include those who travel in and out of the country three to five times in a year, regardless of their nationality.

The Immigration Card holders, Thai and foreign alike, will bypass normal procedures of the Immigration Police which include scanning for criminal suspects or those on the police and immigration Watch List.

Instead, the Immigration Card holders will have the privileges to go through fast passage at airports, the Immigration Police chief said.

The Immigration Card, which will be issued to tourists and others by the end of this year, marking the advent of a fresh tourist season, was part of the efforts to promote tourism and investment in the country.

Meanwhile, the Immigration Police will open Call Centre 1178 early next year to provide tourism-related information in eight languages. Besides, the Immigration Police will take part in the crackdown on the exploitation of foreign labour and flesh trade throughout the country.

----------

meh.. that just means its gonna be slower to get through immigration, since its usually pretty fast...

idiots still don't get that the only thing that takes time with thailand is sitting at the immigration office for extensions or leaving the country for a new visa

I'm going to Thailand in a few weeks. How easy it is to book domestic flights with 1-2 days notice? I'm flying into Bangkok, and I envision that once i get sick of it I'll catch a flight to Phuket/Krabi and check out Ko Phi Phi. Roughly what is the price premium for this or do you guys recommend booking well in advance?

I live in the USA, and want to go to Thailand in January, how the hell do I get a visa? I have been checking online, and it seems like the easiest way is to go to washington DC? this is not practical for me as Iam on the east coast. Is there an easier way?

well, i guess i should take some to do a small report from my experience in here after 6 months, so here we go :

Well, i went to bkk with some friends, stayed 3 months in a 200sq with swimming pool, maid .... was great.

I meet a girl quickly :

But she wasnt from bangkok (she is a nurse in emergency room), so i finally decided to move in her city (Khunhan in Sisaket.. approx 800km from bkk, near cambodia)

And i have to say im really happy right now, im in a 55sq appartement with a 25sq garden (i can add pic if you guys want)
Price in here are just ridiculous :

Appartement rent : 2000 bath per month (yes yes 2k)
Internet bill : 1100 baht (Maxnet 2m)
water+power = 500 baht approx (for some reason.. water is free in here)
Cable TV : 1500 , TrueTV

just add 4000 baht for random use.. and you have it all.. just sick

For everyone who consider coming thailand and are still not sure about it, just do it guys.. you will be amazed.

if you have questions, go go !

PS : im having some lag issue with pokerstars since im in thailand, am i the only one? or even more.. do you really managed to find a connection 100% working ? i have a good connection right now, but not as good as i would like for 24 tabling
