The name of this is like AIS 3g 21mbps or something like that, and from what I understood that speed will only last for like 4gb after that it will get slower? Well you did get hustled because dongles are completely unnecessary if you have a smart phone, which I assume you do.

As for the 4g package it's pretty good. Just remember not to use this connection for downloading or streaming videos and 4gb should last the entire month. Since you bought an AIS package that makes you eligible unlimited access to AIS wi-fi if you are in range of a hotspot, which you should be in Patong. Find out your username and password and use AIS public wifi for things that have high data usage.

Usually with AIS they just take credit out of your phone account to pay for the 1 month renewal of the service, not sure how it works with a dongle.
