It's pretty hard to say at this stage, they have changed the rules every 2 weeks for the last 2 months.

Double entry is 60+30 *leave the country* 60+30.

I would recommend to stick with double entry tourist visa, I got a - legit - student visa and I actually regret it, as they randomly change the rules, refuse extension etc for no reason.

Did you play some poker in Macao? How does the games looks like nowdays? Easy to find some tables?

Sticking with double entry tourist visa is going to be difficult with the new rule that every 2nd one has to come from your home country.

Cash games sucked as there was no inbetween. You either played 50c/1 basically on poker pro electronic tables or played huge stakes at Wynn.

If I have 2 passports and the first double-entry is from my home country, then I'll get one from SEA to the first passport, then get a double/triple entry from my home country by mail in the second passport and then get another one in SEA into that one. That should work, right?

Edit: I mean, noone knows the exact future rules except lol69, since it's Thailand after all, but logically speaking.

PS. do I have to show up for the 30-day extensions or can I send someone else? Are the waiting times(in BKK) for those similar length to student visa ones(had a mate wait for 6hrs) and if so, is there a service where someone picks a queue nr for me and tells me when it's time to show up.

Are there anywhere to play live poker tournaments on a daily basis in Chiang Mai?
How are the taxes for europeans (norwegian) living there?

Poker is illegal here, so you might find some games but there is some risks.

For this reason you don't pay taxes on poker winnings obv, unless you want to arrange a sketchy scheme with some so called lawyers, but there is no point to do that.

Does anyone know if an American shower filter would connect to a standard Thai shower head? In other words, are shower pipes/heads the same in Thailand as they are in North America? At least, do they look the same if you are not sure?

Finally a question that the Thailand guru doesn't have an answer to.
