---also the visa situation. Ok so i got to thai embassy get a 60 day visa. in thailand get a 30 extension, lets say i like it and want to stay longer, how do u go about doing that...

Try to get a double entry tourist visa before you go. This will give you 6 months if you do 2 extensions and one visa run. If you're only granted a single entry and need more time in LOS, you can do a visa run to get another 30 days or make a trip out to an embassy to apply for another tourist visa.

lol tv dinners.. i just rode my bike 30secs to thai market

bought squid salad, 2 pork sticks and 1 full corn.. for the price of a crappy thai tv dinner.. have to be crazy to buy that

I am staying here on a triple entry tourist visa for what its worth.......got it through the mail from the thai embassy in washington d.c. (us passport holder obv.) So in theory that is good for 9 months (60 day +30 day x 3)

(BangkokPost.com) - Southern insurgents shot dead a government official in the southern province of Pattani on Tuesday before beheading him, police said.

The victim is identified as Attapong Gonlom, 26, an assistant chief of his village council in Yarang district.

According to police, he was shot when he was driving a pickup truck in front of a school in the district. Then, the insurgents dragged his body out of the vehicle and cut his head off in front of students and teachers.

Also in Pattani, three patrol soldiers were wounded by a roadside bombing. They were rushed to a nearby hospital.

Dire : ploenchit and wireless road are two different world in term of price. For that kind of money you can live on ratchamdari ( langsuan is top ) or Chitlom, middle of bangkok, green ( view on the park and polo club ), calm and easy access to everything.
The best deals are not in english on internet. Try to ask a thai girl to do a search for you in thai or just walk around and ask.

Apparently it was actually a controlled detonation of a reported bomb placed under a bus used by the chinese embassy.

Happened out the front of bangkok gardens (near oakwood), there was an article on the news this morning.

Nobody hurt which was good, the soi sucked yesterday given that it was blocked off in the morning for the bomb stuff and then flooded in the afternoon.

they have some sick sick 2 br'd for 30k with brick stone walls..

i keep saying it.. but my gf had one there and they're really sick nice

ive seen people pay 3k us a month for that **** in montreal

As for deals on the net in thai. theres none for houses.. just for condos.. ive looked at every single thai website and they're about 5k cheaper on most houses... not really a big deal
