I wouldn't use the Thai post office (although it's fair to say that it's more reliable to send stuff from here than it is to receive it here). Try UPS or DHL.

Yea patts is kinda a small town and I never traveled at all until 2012 so I find enjoyment in exploring the entire city on foot, doing tons of walking, I even went for a long run one day, I feel like I know this city well and Ive done the dam thing, time to move on to better places

FWIW I was in shorts and flip flops when I opened my bank account at Kasikorn bank in Lamai Tesco in Samui.

Banks aren't government departments, they are there to sell you something and don't really care what you are wearing. Especially in places like Phuket and Samui where it is understood that people are there for the beach life and don't often get around in jeans/trousers.
