there is no way they are gonna let you on a flight from thailand to lao without your passport and i would be amazed if on return you didn't have to go through thailand immigration

which season would you guys most recommend for someone that would live there for 2-3 months?
I heard summer weather is not very good, also huge waves so swimming may not be best option?

Will it be a problem to fly domestically with overstay?

I will take the early Air Asia (7 am) which I have taken before and gotten to the consulate in time, but I don't have a passport photo. Do they still have the booth outside the consulate for that?

Thanks.
airlines won't check your stamps flying domestic. if you are still worried about that, just use another ID if you have, like driver's licence. you don't need your passport to fly domestic like mithras and tme already said

you can get pictures done in front of the consulate

basically any conversation works. they really have no sense as to whats cheazy or inappropriate. If we come up with what we think is a good line, its probably because any line will do. Sure we can get a great response and we think we've been clever but in reality its way over their head and they are desperate to submit to your charms for fear of initiating any sort of conversation themselves.

oh this is for 7/10's if you are going after 9's I have no clue.

It's also only 10 mins from Patong.

tsunami proof and 2 mins away from the beach on a scooter.

I dealt with Bernie from Alexanders Property and would warmly recommend him.

this seems like a better option than any of the options I opted in for in 6 months in Thailand. placing my liver 10 minutes from patong might prove fateful. btw what did you do to make the maids come?

i've only stayed there a few nights on visaruns but afaik most of the restaurants/bars etc are packed into a fairly small area near the riverfront. i'd just browse agoda and find a place that suits you. everything will be within walking distance (except the thai consulate, have a tuktuk take you there, it's a ~10min ride from the area i'm talking about)

kamala is a terrible choice if you want to hang out with the big 2+2/poker player community that have occupied kata/chalong/rawai areas

if I dont speak 1 word of thai would this be a problem if I would go to live there?
in which place (bkk, phuket, cm) would this problem be the smallest?

Also what line you guys use on picking up them thai girls. Assuming you walk into a bar alone or with like 1,2 friends and spot a group of girls apparently drunk. What can you say/do to get them to sleep with you?

nah you likely wont find deep conversation. They are quite pleasant to hang with but they are often simple or indifferent to things that are complex. or both.

look for older, professional girls if you want conversation. younger(and typically hotter girls) won't be able to do much. not necessarily because they don't want to, but their lack of english skills won't let them.

Look at chiang mai/bangkok. chiang mai sounds better from what you say.
