cost 245 baht with toast and coffee but it was actually really good and is still cheaper than england. Its an english bar called chequers in soi4 nana a bit furthar down from nep. probably going to be a daily ritual.

i paid 100baht for this the other day, kind of phaggy breakfast and the beans/mushroom portion is just lol. But it was pretty decent overall for the price, and its not one of them stupid hot dog sausages

Don't know what the last part of your post means, but to comment on the first part: I predicted early on that he would do zero research on his own (true), ignore everyone's advice (true), and get in trouble (so far, false). Last one was based on his insistence to do drugs in Thailand/Philippines and I wasn't the only one who thought he'd be in jail or worse.

About him coming to SEAsia on a short whim: I didn't believe at the time simply because I assumed that he was looking to save as much money as possible, and didn't think he'd book an expensive last minute one-way flight during high season. So I guess he got me there at his own expense.

Now, to elaborate on my original comment, I think if people want to save money they should follow what PeoplesElbow has done (stayed in hostels, rented an apartment for 6500 baht or whatever, made friends with experienced expats, got a girlfriend, etc). Certain things he does are dumb imo but overall he's done a way better job saving money than k2d who has wasted money on moving around unnecessarily (Manila-Angeles-Bangkok-Cambodia-Bangkok-Pattaya I think?), booking things last minute, and paying hookers in the easiest countries in the world to get laid.

chances they look nothing like they do in there picture = high chance
chances I or somebody else from 2p2 has banged her= plausible
chacnes you will get laid on the first date if you play your cards right = most likely

I got 5lbs of good quality whey for 2,099b delivered to my door.

There's some fried bread on that plate. But yeah, I don't think that breakfast is particularly good value. You can get a great Full English anywhere in tourist areas for 120-180 baht, depending on what comes with it.

That breakfast probably costs about 45-55 baht. It's all pretty crap what u're eating there. Get a real English breakfast at sukh 26 Gastronom. Priced at 300 baht, still a rip off, but great ingredients and tastes a lot better.
