connect4 owns we only found 1bargirl that could actually give any resistance(she was coached by the female barowner which was really good) will go into connect4 grindmode when coming back to beat that barowner.

http://www.lbremer.de/files/mustrum2.zip this plays perfect and you cant beat it as 2player

i think those indian tailors or atleast some of them are actually thai nationals. there are a bunch of Indians with thai citizenship + tons of money. the owner of the condo i used to live in was Indian. i suspect they have their own little elite group like the chinese thais, but could be wrong.

there's also a ton at every other shop you stop by and they are the most aggressive annoying mother****ers I've ever met. I can't understand how anyone makes money here since everyone sells the same ****. I guess it's better than india though....

Awesome! I'll stop by there tomorrow and see if he can do some quick work. I had a guy make me a pair of pant here in Phuket and while they're ok (fabric is great) they're a little old-manish despite how I kept telling the guy that everything he was suggesting was for old men and that I wanted mine to be teh way SI was telling him.

If your tailor makes a shirt and pants (and if he's really quite good I may get a suit) what's a ball-park price?

Thanks,

Bill

I did some research on tailors and posted links to the best ones. I don't have the links any more, but you can search if you're interested.

I'll post this on a Thai Visa forum as well, but maybe one of you guys know the answer straight away as well.

Since mid-February I have stayed in Thailand for a total of 70 days using the entry stamp one gets at the airport (over a total of 3 entries). I have also stayed 30+ days on an actual tourist visa I obtained in Laos. I'm now leaving Thailand for two weeks in Italy. When I come back to Thailand can I just get another 20 days allowance with an entry stamp?

Thanks,

Bill

i mostly get shirts. don't pay over 500 baht each. his shirts are amazing. i can't recall what he charged me for the suit i got, it was over a year ago. again, great quality though. key thing with getting a suit (as somebody else mentioned) is figuring out the cut you want. pants for my girlfriend were 800 baht each iirc

go to the thai embassy in italy and apply for a 60 day visa. you can then go to immigration at the end of 60 days and get a 30 day extension, so its effectively a 90 day visa. there are no restrictions on the amount of time you can spend in thailand with this method.

edit: the answer to your question is yes, they will give you a 20 day visa when you come back, worst case scenario. they may be lazy and not fully look through your passport and give you 30 days. if you do this though you'll (it appears) have to stay out of thailand for a bit, if you take my advice above, you wont have to do this if you don't want to.

Thanks a lot for the info. I suppose I could have saved you some time by telling you I only plan to stay a couple of weeks after I come back as I've got to go back to Europe for a wedding in early July so I don't need much time for this trip. I can definitely see the advantage of having more flexibility for later on but it won't be worth the extra days I'd spend in Rome to attempt getting the visa there when I'll have plenty of time in Paris to get it done next trip.

I'll say hello to your tailor tomorrow.

Thanks again,

Bill
