this is why the majority of backpackers fail thailand imo. coming 1000s of miles to hang out at khao san in bkk, then other backpacker spots all over the country(even in towns there are 1 or 2 hostels for them to hang at). Coming to thailand to just hang out with other farang travelers(same one you can find in hostels in any other country) is just something I will never understand. Even the biggest Klaus sex tourists have more interaction with thai people than most backpackers

I was looking for that for a while on craigslist. Hard to find. Anything around 3k is gonna be kiddy bikes. Everything was like 10k baht to 40k baht.

khrap. Was also looking for a second hand scooter on CL. In the end it's probably better to just buy a new one. No fuss with papers, insurance, things that break and they keep their value reasonably well. If you buy a new click now at 50k you can still sell it for 30k 2-3 years later. I've saved over 15k in taxi fares over the last few months alone.

couldnt take any creepers or hooker pics once my phone died. camera made a beep about half second before it flashed. they were too fast - pic blocked me with thier hands or a sheet everytime. then Id have to negotiate a much tamer pic or nothing at all.

@ piepounder. Im also pretty bad with breaking phones but i still think you are better off getting a smartphone with ok camera.

the sony nexus range have some toughened phones some are even waterproof i picked one up fairly cheap just recently.

then all u gotta do is make sure u dont loose it but as you always have a phone with you so its harder to loose than a camera.

whenever I buy trousers/jeans/chinos, the first thing I check are the pockets are they deep enough that no matter how drunk i get it wont fall out. To this day I have not lost a single phone

its a feature of the operating system, not the phone itself, so any new andriod would do it regardless how cheap it is. might be androids as low as 4k-5k.
