If theres a hell, its a friggin recreation of thailand trains.

Plane everyday off the week. Money wise it still is pretty cheap and wins in all other catogories.

I have done some train rides in Thailand, one they are a waste of time, two they arent exactly comfortable.

DONT TAKE A TRAIN IN THAILAND UNLESS ITS LESS THAN AN HOUR OR SO AND FOR THE NOVELTY OF IT. ITS LIKE BEING IN A TUK TUK GOING 10 MILES AN HOUR.

I had a 12 hour train journey in Thailand and it was awesome; had my own bed (-: and easy enough to sleep. That was going north of BK though and I'm guessing most peoples experience here is going south.

Just booked my flight for Friday the 6th at 12:10pm of of O'hare and arrive in Phuket at 11:59 PM on the 7th hope to see everyone there, and hopefully I'm not a dumbass and can get there without any problems.

Yeah some common sense, pickup your friend(s) in Phuket and rush to bangkok where the real parties and the hottest girls are.

To quote Pumpui recently ( he's living in Phuket ) : "Man it's so nice to be checked out by hot babes everywhere all day long and go to real nightclubs. Phuket is awful"

Phuket pros :
-the beach, breathable air and nature ( hippy stuff imo )

Bangkok pros :
- Hottest girls in the country and hot girls in massive quantity plus uni girls in uniform every 20 meters.
- Best nightclubs of all types ( hookers ones to ballers ones ) "nightclubs" in Phuket are a joke imo
- Best restaurant and shopping ( hands down again for quality and variety )
- Gogo bars full of hot naked girls, There is no real gogo bar in phuket only "beer bars" which are usually boring ( target clientele 50yrs old + ) and with no nakeness
- Only 2h from the pussy capital of the world Pattaya
- Taxis cheap numerous and reliable ( no taxi in phuket lol ), Bts skytrain ( the best thing since sliced bread )
-you can take the plane any hour to any beach in Thailand max flight time 2h.

You got my point, I really wonder why a baller looking for party would go to Phuket and if you are looking for relaxation and nice beaches you have better options too.

Why gamble in AC when you can go to Vegas?

To be fair, max lives in one of the worst areas of phuket and has only been out 1 or 2 times when the cops were closing everything early and no one would go out.

Everything you listed is right, but it's pretty skewed. Even though the nightlife isn't as good as in BKK it's still pretty damn good. And there are plenty of hot thai girls here (especially in Phuket Town). Obviously the food's not as good as BKK because like everything else a city of 10 million+ is going to have more variety than a resort island. Again, the food here is still really good (a few guys who just arrived can't believe how good/cheap it is here). I like speeding around the jungle on a motorbike and having great beaches just minutes away. But to each his own. I love bangkok and can't wait to go back at the end of the month.

I did some dentalwork at a place in the times square building. I dont have anything to compare it to caus I never had cavity's before but they drilled a huge hole in my tooth and filled it up nicely. however during the drilling i complained a a chilling pain and THEN they decided maby u should get an Xray and see whats up. A infection ore something was discovered under the tooth and I actually should have gotten a rootcanal but there was this treatment that was 50/50 and like 1/3 of the price. And sins I did noy want to get my tooth drilled away I decided to go with coinflip.
Im pretty sure that I would get an Xray first in my country then would have the options weighted to me instead of half way trough the procedure. so the working order was a bit weird but the actual quality of the work was good.

and yes dont take trains i thailand, SPEC the one on routh to chumpon -> surathani sins it travels in about 45km/h.

screech & the gang, thanks for showing me a good time around last night. i got to my hotel at 7am (it took almost an hr somehow to get to my hotel somehow..) now @ chaing mai. im really liking it here so far, cultural polar opposite of phuket, with a tons of 'local' things around. i like paying 20baht for local tuktuks as well, not 500 lol.
