found ~$550 on my old FTP account. Looks like Moneybookers is no longer an option provided by FTP. Does any of the other withdrawal options work with a Thai bank account? I remember Neteller to instaban my account upon logging in back in 2006. Does that still apply? I am sort of hesitant to order a check after losing a Credit Card to some Post Office dude a while ago (prepaid, so he was hopefully beaten up by the BigC security force when trying to buy a basket full of Singha).

I landed in Bangkok yesterday. I gotta say after 2 trips to the Philippines (the last one being about 4 years ago) this place crushes them(Manila/AC) in every regard. Not that I haven't read these opinions before, I just don't believe anything until I see it for myself.

I once got made to pay 50 baht damage for a hand towel in the room I used to wipe some banana out of my back after it burst in there. Didnt really care about the money, but it would have washed out if they had bothered to try.

What really pissed me off is when I was checking out I was handed a damage note with the charge detailing 'chit on towel' and they proceeded to accuse me of wiping my ass with the towel, they accused me of that loudly in front of all the other guests present. Not happy.......

I honestly think you are very mildly autistic, in terms of having the mildest form which basically shows itself as having very little understanding of what others may be thinking or feeling.

Ive got a wifi connection in the building i live in which is ok but cuts out a little to often. They also have scheduled downtime between 5-6am and 8-9pm every night, wtf??

Ive tried a dtac 3g connection with a sim you get from 7/11 but its far from reliable. Its barely fast enough to keep up with tables but more importantly cuts out to much. Can't purchase one on a plan at the moment because "computer broken" for the last 2 weeks at the place where you sign up. Idk of any other places to sign up but I imagine I'll be getting the same signal as the happy tourist sim I bought from 7/11.

Ive bought a AIS air card which doesn't get service where i live.

I've tried friends adsl connection from CAT and it was horrible.

Are there any other options?
