Imo the met in upper Sathorn is the nicest condo tower in town but I am not a big fan of the location. Then there are some nice houses in upper Sukhumvit Soi 11/13 closer towards Petburi but most people who stay here for a while find the whole region too touristy.
Some people like Soi Rang Ngam near Victory Monument.
If you are on a budget On Nut is one of the better options because it's close to Thonglor/Ekkamai but does not have much to offer besides that. It also gets harder to pull hot regular chics f you tell em you live in Bang Chak.
Thanks for this.
I stayed in langsuan 2 years ago in urbana/fraser place but i want to mix it up a bit and try something new and i also found that region/street a bit boring. Looking for something new and want see if there are any interesting areas outside the safe bets of promphong/ thonglor/ ekamai. I doubt i could live in nana/asoke for more than 1 month and not be super tilted by the tourists & street hookers.
Sathorn/Silom feels a bit like banks in the day and gay at night or that's to generalize it too much..? anyone live here?
Going to check out just north of Siam station a bit. Ratchatewi/Phaya Thai/Vict Monument. Anyone live there? I dont mind if its a bit more thai and less expat oriented. Kind of what I am after.
On nut only has Tesco/Big C and out door market or is there more to it than that?
Seen some nice condos in Le Luc/Skywalk tower on 20+ floor with floor to ceiling windows and great views. Anyone been there? It's prakanong area though which I assume isnt ideal?
Petchaburi/Rama9 anyone?
Thanks
