can repeat as many times as necessary, as long as you have blank pages in your passport. or you go to laos in a visa run van service e.g. http://www.thaivisaservice.com/, they get you a multiple entry tourist visa, which is 60 days extendable to 90, twice, with a border run by plane or land in the middle of the total 180 days
Yeah, my visa expire January 6, sunday..., doh, can't do visa sunday! I have three option:

1) Going january 3 in the morning and leave the day after (friday). Flight ticket gonna be very expansive like $450 for round trip.

2) Going Sunday january 6 but having to stay one more day cause they don't do visa sunday... (round trip ticket probably $250-$300).

3) Going monday january 7 (visa expire january 6), and coming back january 8. I think it's possible if I pay 500 bahts fee at airport right? (500 bahts/day). I need to be sure because if it's only 500 bahts for one day expire visa I will choice option #3.

p.s: not my first visa trip, went to Laos and Cambodia before. I don't need van services it's for old people or just newb. I'm a newb in some ways but Laos embassy is easy just need to ask a agent to do everything for like $10.

Getting a studio would really be the absolute last thing I want to do. Moving into a grind house or setting one up are both infinitely better, imo at least.

Can someone guesstimate what % of the people live in grind houses as opposed to on their own?

Or if you like to gamble tell them youre a poker player looking for hookers and ask them if they know a good place to buy ya ba
Thanks for posting that, didn't think to call the airline and ask if there'd be any complications. Hopefully east china air doesn't care.

Don't worry, they refuse nobody, but lol at u asking if u need to tell immigration that ure there to play illegal game (poker), don't be such a fish plz! Just tell him what he want to heard, ur there to meet friends and chill, dunno how long.

p.s: don't go to Cambodia for visa, go to Laos, Cambodia Thai Ambasy refused me last time, they are pain in they ass when it come to tourist visa, Laos is much faster and they refuse nobody.
Would there be a problem with telling them that I'm staying for a few months but with the intention of leaving every 30 days to get that visa extended?

No, definitely don't do this, it can only cause problems. Say you're a tourist and you're staying for 30 days. They don't record the information or check up on you, it's just a formality.

Any airline with the word "China" in it is unlikely to care if you have a visa or not. Be prepared to buy a refundable ticket out of Thailand if they do end up insisting on it.

dont go to phuket. Also dont get a "GF" if shes not working. I managed to borrow 3k off mine last night because I didnt want to use my bank card to get raped my ATM fees. I have a friend coming in next week who is going to give me Euros in exchange for stars. This means she cant go out or do anything this week but I dont care, i just saved about £12, also means i gotta live on 3k till monday

I would bring as much cash in your home currency as you feel safe in, as you dont get good rates on your ATM card. If your going to rent a place, you will have to put a deposit down of usually 15k+

This depends entirely on your bank and ATM card. I get the bank rate on ATM conversions.

An actual better way to save money would be to make sure you have a decent bank/credit card before coming here.

In Koh Samui for a few days and I just got into a motorbike accident. As I turned into the parking lot, another car was coming through the alley and I zipped in front of him, missed the turn, and smashed into a fence lol. I escaped with just a scraped up forearm and a bruised ego.. the gf fared worse with a nasty gash on her foot and is walking with a limp.

The hotel I rented from said the damage for the bike will cost 1500.. fair price? There's some scuff marks near the rear below the seat and some damage on the panel on the right side.

I only use AERON (I here citi bank is the same) you dont get charged 150baht for the use of the machine.

but I end up getting like 47.9baht/£1 when the actual rate is close to 49.1. Max I can take out is 14k in one go, if I do use another machine, although it maybe slightly higher, but then ill gotta pay 150baht extra, so i guess what machine I use is negligible?

Do the banks have a website were you can see the exchange rate. I go home this month, I will be looking into maybe a CC.

I recently left thailand 1 day after visa expired, the guy who normally processes visa gave me a special stamp or something, but i did not have to pay any overstay fine

Im going to phuket first because its a direct flight for me and cheaper. Im assuming i can get a cheap flight to bangkok?

I have a stock standard visa debit from my bank, and a citibank credit card.
I was planning on using my neteller card as most of my roll is online and i just withdraw to neteller when i need to buy stuff. Is it ok to use my neteller to withdraw there?
Im probably not going with enough funds but i have booked a return ticket just in case things go bad, im obviously planning on grinding while there too.

Maybe someone can confirm but I think they let you off with just one day overstay? Applies for extensions etc as well I believe, esp if the last day falls on a Sunday or holiday they seem to be pretty lenient. Pretty sure I have been let off the hook before as well.

I overstayed one day on the 25th of October for my last visa run, they didnt say anything. They just write in pen on your passport that you stayed an extra day. This was a flight, and wasent leaving via the border

You can see the bank exchange rate on xe.com. It's the same for every bank in the world. Whether or not they give you that exchange rate depends on what account and credit card you have.

I use this card: http://www.28degreescard.com.au/ which gives me the correct exchange rate + no fees anywhere in the world. All I pay is the 150 baht ATM fee (or not if I could be bothered riding to the AEON ATM). I don't know if there's something similar offered by a UK bank or not. The company that does this card in Australia is GE Capital Finance.

If you got it fixed yourself it would probably be 300-400 baht to replace the panels. But 1500 is not a bad price to pay considering they will get it fixed, and the loss of income for them not having the bike rented. I've seen a lot worse demands.

I had to pay 1 day overstay when leaving Samui the day after my visa expired. So not always. 500 baht isn't exactly a huge deal though.

btw samui guys. I have new cell phone.

was walking between fusion and that other club that runs later. dont know name. there is a small little water feature on the corner that I trip and fall into. I emerge looking like mossman. green filth everywhere and I was filthy before I went in.

check my phone it seems fcked. what do you do? take it home let it dry? nope. biff it 100 meters towards beach? absolutely!

and the kicker? I have no way to contact my awesome non-pro thai girl. so i go buy phone, go back in town, talk to her former boss at bondi, he gives me her phone number right away. cool. So today ill call her when shes done at hotel. but I have some splainin to do.

anyway so im in town, hook up with a below average pro that has a much better chance at biggest bush contest than wet t shirt contest. her name was yin I think but I started calling her yeti, and don't think she got the reference. I thnk theres a high correlation between haircount and pussy tightness...she was just not hot enough to bother trimming, but she had a little jewelery box hidden in the thicket.

Today I have my work cut out for me. cleaning my place pube by pube, and crafting a story to tell my non-pro thai that I like so much I may leave the country if it falls through. Call me a romantic. every pube has to go
