Yah, actually I stayed at a hotel just 5 min taxi from the airport. The hotel had an taxi, so you could just get them to drive you to/from the airport. It was okay hotel, "normal" thai hotel standard I guess. I'll try to get the name, 2 secs.

I couldn't find it just now, but I'm gonna ask my friend, he paid for it. Not that it was anything special, just close, cheap and good service.

hua hin is about a two hour taxi ride from bkk. the king lives there so the police and laws are pretty stict. no partying late, very few hookers etc. nightlife is pretty meh, though there are a couple of bars and such. great beaches, great golfing, very safe and not dirty and trashy with tons of old dudes with 19 year old hookers 'girlfriends'

-A Thai woman decked out in native american wardrobe singing with a dude who could have been Thai or Native American hawking Native American CDs

-Sweet Earings for the sis: $10

-2 Thai karaoke VCDs: $3

-"Spicy Girl" Shirt for my gf: $6

-Wicked machete for "homeland defense": $5

- Pizza in Phuket Town Italian restaurant with wine served in an old school coke bottle (it's election day in Phuket yo so no alcohol sales allowed)

-return to pad drinking vodka, red label, and brandy whilst singing along to Thai karaoke with scheech, my gf, her sis and my Ze Germain housemate till 230Am: PRICELESS
