If you've got sick game like these "i've slept with 30 girls from [hooker bar] and never paid once" guys, just being rational about it, it's completely illogical to goto a place like Spicy / Insomnia where the girls are A) 90% hookers and B) much worse looking, than a place like RCA or Funky where the girls are 95% not hookers and way better looking. So when someone brags about going to known hooker bars a lot, and never paying, cos they're just so fly, something smells super fishy about that.

Not true. You just need to go to places where normal chicks hangout mate. The places that are jammed with foreigners are also usually where hookers hang out. Or get to know and chat to normal girls during the day etc away from the nightlife.

I would say of the thai girls I have took from a bar or disco(50+) prob less than 15 have mentioned money, even in the morning a lot of them are too shy too ask. I have paid every one of them and they have never turned it down, which I asume means they were expecting it.

Each to their own, but do you not think its worth paying her simply to ensure your safety in a foreign country? Angry thai dudes dont beat you until you fall down and then walk away. The person falling down is simply a sign that its safe for everyone in the group to now kick and punch (and worse) the victim because he cant fight back now.

To the people coming and not sure what to do - If you dont mind running the risk of being severly beaten as described above dont pay her. If you want to not look over your shoulder for the rest of your stay in Thailand then pay her even 500THB or 1kTHB, no more than that is required in this situation. Chalk it up as a learning experience, part of travelling to Thailand and experiencing a different culture etc and move on.

The owner of the pattaya addicts forum (expat, been here a while etc) said that one of the requirements of surviving in Thailand is the ability to at times swallow your pride, lie down and just cop it (be the victim of corruption). Don't be a doormat but pick your battles carefully.
