You'll get 30 days free every time you enter Thailand. Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam visas are all about $35US, and you can pay that on arrival. Not too sure about your other destinations, but phew thats a lot of places to see in just 3.5 months

Re: Thailand returns

we're a couple of guys planning a trip. how is the weather in thailand in june-july? Also wondering how the night life is this time a year? Many tourists from us/europe? Last but not least, heard some rumours which says that online poker is illegal in thailand?

ps 1 am pretty ****ty, glad i got out of bangkok soon since nightlife is what makes it cool
Hanoi is boring... nightlife there is a joke...actually there is no nightlife at all, if youcompare to thailand... go to south vietnam, people say its almost like in thailand...

nope.

the April-may period is hotter.

By far I'd say since there is no more humidity in the air.

Songkran, the thai new year ( 9-12 april ) is the commonly accepted boiling point.

June-july is late hot season early rainy season, not so hot and not a ton of sun especially in july ( maybe 20 days in the month ).

dear ***** god. phuket is so hot... like 3 degree's above bangkok,

I gotta pay 3x the price to get this house cleaned to the standard of queen victoria. every inch. even inside the rice cooker and any appliance.

Anyways if anyone is interested in doing something after im done setting this house up. just pm me your numbers or emails. i only know anders here.

im also looking for some place to rent long term a car or jeep. doesnt have to be in good shape.. just sub 9k a month. cuz these motorbikes aint good when i go shoppin

Where are you staying? We use ToT and it works pretty good, the other house gets decent speed with their provider also.

ya June ain't so bad, especially compared to nowish

anyways EM2, a Bangkok mansion would no doubt be sweet, but if you went to a smaller city, you could have the potential to become legendary. i'm just imagining a young guy throwing around piles upon piles of cash in chiang mai and it makes me smile. in bangkok it would be sick too but not nearly as notable.

Re: Thailand returns

theres as much gold as in a temple if you hate backpackers and their mentality.

im using TOT too. but i think im on the 1mb package. What is their website? the owner doesnt have it and he says that if i want extra speed i have to take care of it myself as the 1mb is included.
REsponse time is pretty good but when i download i have to restart the modem evert hours or 2

Phuket is beautiful.. but i do miss bkk already and lol@me for driving 11hours from bkk to phuket. and lol@ big cars having 1.5l engines here.. the toyota camry i had was one of their strongest non sports car.. 0-100km took about 17secs

My mom's hyunday elantra 98 130hp does it faster

Showing that you have tons of money is usually not a good idea in a country like Thailand though, depending on where you are, your connections and so on. In the classy clubs and areas of Bangkok sure no problem, but going to the more regular bar areas or wherever really, it'd be easy to get unwanted attention from both foreigners and Thais. I've met lots of people around both Thailand and other parts of Asia who's lost gold chains and expensive watches after showing it off too much. But hey, as long as you use common sense Bangkok is an awesome place to be, especially if you have $$$

Re: Thailand returns

Hi guys,

I'm looking to take a trip from Phuket to Chiang Mai for a few days. Does anyone have any tips on finding a good airfare?

AirAsia usually has the lowest fares however they don't offer multiple leg trips and I'd have to stop over in BKK so I worry that if I just booked two different legs I'd miss the second one and have to pay some fees or buy a new ticket to complete the trip.

Anyone know a good travel agent or website?

Thanks,

Bill
