can go to any watch stand on the street and they will charge u like couple hundred baht. depends where u live but there's one on the street beside foodland on suk 16 and there's one between suk 24-26 outside the 7/11

I'm going to specifically look at EVA Air now and compare. But could you elaborate more on the "bad things" you've heard about China Eastern?

I was planning on cashing 6k Can. into baht as it's just a couple months living expenses and I figured I might as well get the best vig and avoid the hassle of having to find a decent money changer in BKK while I'll already be dealing with a ton of other things. But you guys have talked me out of it.

according to their site they give you 31.4 today while google says today's exchange rate is 31.39.

went there twice and it was always PACKED but still got my money in like 20 minutes.

Just have to say this thread is great. I get a good laugh here and there from the entertainers and learn a new thing or two almost every day. 90% of my trip research has been just from this thread so far.

This does trouble me a lot. I mean it's always sad to see human life wasted on violence, but specifically in a country I'm planning to travel too very soon.....that sucks. This can only escalate, but oh well.....I'm all in now. Sold everything I own already including my dual monitor set up and computer this Thursday.

Ha ha, good call. I always just trust Expedia to find me the cheapest flight, looks like today EVA beats CEA by $19 and 2hr travel time.

Expedia aren't usually the cheapest these days, I normally start with kayak and work from there.

I love EVA. Have only eva had good experience with them, i prefer them over Thai/BA/Quantas/CathayP/Kuwait and just about anyone else i ever flown with.

Right now I'm just trying to decide between Oct and Nov. I'm starting to think Nov. might be better since Oct is still rainy season over there. November is around the time it starts getting miserable in Vancouver.

Chinese airlines rated much lower than EVA. Heard their seats are smaller/more cramped, service sucks. Big problem on a 20 hour flight. Friend said he flew them once, CE, and the toilets overflowed and they didn't even clean it up or something.

Really? Well it was realistic for me and for dozens of other people that I have met who just came here. I'd suggest that you are highly out of touch with the "average person" who comes here if you really think what you said above is true.

So I take her into route 66, I tell her im getting a bottle, she says no no. I buy two long island ice teas (highest alcohol content), she says it very nice and starts to drink it fast, im thinking at this point....





We dont really say much to each other at the start, were kind of standing next to each other in the club, i kind of move upaside her and kind of put my arm around here (test the waters). I keep toasting her glass which means she has to drink more. after the first drink she was kind of duck and now were griding and chit.







Her friends come and im like oh **** im gonna get **** blocked here, but I bee really creeepy and fake and nice to both of them, say there both hot etc etc. They said im a "handsum man", "good man".

They wanna go insomina, im like fawwk 300 bhat in, but yolo.


So we go there for a bit, she says im "tired", im like lets go back to mine, she said yes. the rest was history
