I just called them and they're all booked.. I can see why it looks like a nice place for the money.. My range is 700-1200 or so.. a little more is ok. Only thing is i need an in-room safe and toilet that works..

Yup LK is a fine place to get started

Its clean fairly newish modern style, decent bathrooms, pretty sure it has in room safe. Its on soi bukaow about one min walk from soi LK has a pool its pretty good for the money imo.

If you have a big suit case with locks, you could always put valuables in there. A decent hotel like that not gonna let a girl leave with a great big suit case, when they are picking up their id card on the way out. In fact i think that place even calls the room before returning the id card to girl and wont let her leave without hearing from you alls fine.


KTK is great value for money, but the cheapest rooms are 1200-1500, KTK is defo a better place than nature view, but imo nature is in a much better location for a newbie.

I had this room in KTK for 1700Baht a night;

Meet a few more 2+2ers (i think), get even more yucky on whiskey, the stable is now in full effect. Some dude just keeps passing me shots. big blur, cant remmber ****, expect for talking to some girls in scratchdog. I get kicked out for being drunk. Then get back in (i think?)

fast forward to 6am, in bossy I think with a 2+2er, at some point im in a lift with a hooker who says something about 2k bhat. I laughed and said she would be lucky to **** me.

8am, im in some street dunno were, I see a door open, I walk inside, I hear a old man shouting but i dont respond, i keep walking into the garden take my shoes off and just look up. The man follows me, after like a mintue I put my shoes out and walk out.

LK is a great place for a newb. You have a bunch of bars are gogos on that street and its close enough to walk to Walking street (15-20 mins) and the there is a bunch of bars en route for a crawl if you wish. If you don't want to walk its about 5 mins on a baht bus, good location.

Here is a few places I've stayed and been happy at. My mate stayed in the smallest room here and said it was very small, book the 1k rooms probably.

To be honest, there is a load of good places for 1k Baht or less around that LK Metro area, and now is low low season so there are loads of empty rooms and good deals flying around (my original suggestion was full because it is as good as I suggest, hardly anywhere else else will be full right now) What I suggest you do is book one of the above places for a couple of nights and then either extend when your there if your happy with it, or look around when your there and stay where you like the look of.

For KTK you need a bike and I think the monthly rate is better value than the daily.
And i like the fact that its off the main streets so not a lot of background noise all the time which is nice if you stay a month+.
Its pretty weird styling but definitely very fresh and new nice feel to it and as I said internet is the best i have had in Pattaya
