If you did that on a long-haul route you'd end up paying 4-5 times the price of booking n advance.

Thanks for suggestions, obviously not that common a phrase and looking at the links could mean about 5 different things.

Most likely per night unless you are planning to rent a parking space.

Most places only quote daily and monthly prices, not weekly. Anything around 1000 baht is likely to be the daily price. Most apartments that farangs would live in start around 5000 baht for monthly rates.

It would help if we knew where in Thailand you plan on going, but TBH most of the best deals on accommodation are not found on the internet.

Ahhhh thats my dilema ATM, I guess it would be simpler to state what I want from thailand in my 3 month stay, Ok I guess Im looking for a base to crash ( cant be a dive but dont wanna be super baller ) Looking for cool/crazy thai chicks to hang with daily, but also somewhere I can get away to if i become jaded with the city life, if we could combine a beach a bar and crazy chicks i guess that would where Id wanna lay my hat for 3 months if thats not possible then a base where i can get the above and other places are a short hop away i guess ie trips, paradise islands OH N CRAZY CHICKS

no, sukhumvit is better. you have the bts, mrt, so no reason you should take hours to go anywhere.

naw pot he was responding to my question about a hotel near the airport i believe

that is an area or street in bangkok

to me it sounds like you want pattaya, its the crazy girls capitol of the world and has a beach (though i dont think its a nice beach)

or maybe pukhet, not sure about the girls but its a touristy spot with the beaches

see im a thailand expert without having been there

but go with pattaya man if you choose thailand over PI

All Thai chicks are crazy so that shouldn't really affect your decision.

That's more like 350,000 baht.

Swiss LeConcorde hotel is walking distance from anywhere you would want to go, I give this recommendation my full approval

If you have 350k baht to spend over 3 months, it won't matter how you look, the chicks are going to love you man. I promise.

116.66k baht per month, will be enough for you to live the lifestlye, usually referred to as balla. Some guys on here will tell you you need much more then that to truly be balla, and perhaps they are not entirely incorrect. But I assure you compared to whatever lifestyle you lead back home, your lifestyle off of 116k baht a month in Bangkok is going to feel pretty balla to you.

My advice, don't spend more then 30-40k of that on accommodation each month, that will get you a very nice place, no need to spend more. I'd say be sure you are dedicating more then half your roll (maybe 60k or a bit more,) to going out and partying/having extra money to go visit the islands and perhaps chaing mai as well. Also be sure to spend a few days in Pattaya as previously mentioned by other posters.
