Custom order a Freedom chair with all the options then choose what colour leather you want etc. Aeron is pretty crap imo, my friend has one but got rid of it after I got my freedom.

I had a black leather freedom chair, but friend took it off me and ordered a custom one in like this custom ferrari red leather .. havent seen it yet but its back home waiting. Def best few grand I ever spent, for something you use probably 40 hours a week or whatever. Soo comfortable.

Anyone else having constant disconnections in Bangkok? I hate it. Usually 15 seconds of total disconnection.

If not, where do you live and operator do you use?

It would probably be surprisingly cheap, someone sent a computer to Phuket and it was like 100$ for a desktop.

Due to some really unfortunate circumstances the one room that was set to be available on May 1st is now available ASAP. The house is a 4 bedroom, 5 bath, 3800 sq ft house located 700m from the Phrom Phong BTS stop & 100m from a group of motorbike taxis on a quiet sub-soi. All bedrooms have en-quite bathrooms and king size beds. For every bedroom there is a desk/chair downstairs in the grind room.

The deposit is $1k USD (or THB equivalent if you are currently in Thailand) and monthly rent is 35,000 THB (paid via cash or Kasikorn bank transfer) which is currently a tad under $1k USD.

For more information you can check out this thread in the Marketplace forum

Please let me know via PM if you are interested, thanks!

So I have some questions about potentially moving to Thailand for you guys who live there.

#1 - How much do you spend a month in essential items(rent, food, utilities, etc), or, what are the averages that one needs to make to live in a decent apartment eating decent food.

#2 - How do the Thai people view White people? Specifically, non-Thai speaking Americans(i.e: me).

#3 - What areas are the more populated ones for Immigrants?

#4 - If Thailand has such strict anti-gambling laws and policies, how do you guys withdrawal money out of online poker?

#5 - What are some of the beginning steps to move to Thailand? Is there any sort of online guide you could direct me to for reading?

#6 - How hard is it to get stuff from the United States to Thailand? Specifically, my PC, 2 30" Monitors, a few suitcases of clothes, and other essentials.

Thanks, guys

#1 - You can live pretty well on $50 US a day. It depends where you want to live. For example you can find any number of nice, clean hotels that would put you up for $300 per month. (including all utilities) If you want a nice apartment it's probably double that. It really depends how much space you want.

#2 - People in business (eg shop owners and hookers) will view you as an opportunity to make money. Older middle class Thais will probably assume you are a filthy barbarian sex tourist. Younger Thais will think you are the next best thing to Vin Diesel/Brad Pitt and treat you like a celebrity. Especially if you have blue eyes and blonde hair. They will want to bring you along to parties and introduce you to all their friends in order to improve their status.

#3 Bangkok (Silom, Sukhumvit) Phuket, Samui, Chiang Mai.

#4 Withdraw large amounts at a time, when you do a visa run to a country like Malaysia. You cannot withdraw cash from most poker sites or Neteller from a Thai IP.

#5 Thaivisa.com is a good site

#6 Can't answer this one, Ive always brought everything I needed with me.

You dont need to do this. even if neteller doesnt work from thai IP you can use VPN. From some sites you can even withdraw directly to your thai bank account.

you cant play on ongame or betfair without vpn but other sites you can and if you can play there you can also withdraw from there.

i dont know if pokerspiv is saying withdrawing money from poker and playing in thailand is difficult but i havent found it difficult at all

i have been in the process of setting up an ongame account (tower) and i set my home address as my place in the UK. Tower then blocked my account because i tried to deposit from Thailand so yah like Bill says i think it's fine providing you give them your/a thai address.

Yeah, I didn't read any of the rules at all. I just opened the account with my thai info and deposited with moneybookers before they pulled out of the thai market for depositing to gaming sites. My account is on RedKings fwiw.
