Is this what u r refering to as " short time meat market " Nope i was reffering to a place with girls on a stage but not dancing, you point you chat a bit and you take care of your business either in the premises or at home, notice that there is a 200bf if you want to take the girl out, the cheapest are 300b all included (girl and room) the usual price is 500b. The prices for the upscale massage joints you quoted are on the lower end imo and they often charge you a " farang fee "In bangkok yes I agree, but in the suburbs the pricing is different

Dont they charge you more then the usual if youre a foreigner? The brother of my gf told me that the normal price for a thai is like 500 baht but they charge more for falangs.again it's the suburbs, 500b seems to be the regular farang price here, dunno what the thais pay

Here's how it worked for him:
- He gives her 6000 a month
- She stays full time in his place, her deal includes cooking, housework and bedroom antics.
- She's a student 6k a month happens to cover the cost of the local uni.
- He pays for food and school books ( i know... ahah )
- He found her in a local nightclub
- She is expected to be faithful, he is not obv
She is basically a professional girlfriend/maid.
The other guy deal was:
- He paid for her pad not far from the uni (4k a month)
- she comes when he wants her to, she can call
- she had 8k a month "salary"
- she was expected to be faithful, he was not obv
- found her in a beauty salon, she was working there as a student's job on the WE
More like a typical deal imo
He ended spending way too much money on her ( restaurant, nightclubs,presents ect... ) and fired her when she tried to stab him with a kitchen knife because he refused to take her along on a visa run to laos...

Hey guys great thread!
Hoping you guys can give some advice on the Thailand situation a lot of poker players have going on and how you got started etc, will give info on current position we are in.
There is 5 of us in total I think all poker players aged from 19 to 21, four from Sweden and myself from UK, between us we play high to low stakes. The plan is to move out to Thailand in late January early February and like all before us get a place set up with decent Internet, grind away and maybe have a beer in the afternoon as well

That’s all we have at the moment, were still not sure on where in Thailand exactly and was planning on just finding a house/apartment to rent when we get there but things never go smoothly so hoping you guys can fill us in on what we need to do and how to get prepared for whats ahead
