I came back to europe from mexico in march. i was waiting the situation will be better, but it look now, this year nothing will be opened in mexico. Even the beach are closed.

So i looking for some place to spend my time until the end of this year.
What i want is a not too big, and not crowded city, with beach and opportunity to meet another poker pro-s. Maybe pattaya can be okay, but i really hate dating with prostitutes, i prefer normal womans haha, and nightlife without prostitutes.

I see someone write here about Hua Hin, and i also saw the suggest to visit (Koh pao?) its like an island full of yogist haha.
What city can be good now, and is what about corona?
This is a map of the world showing countries in green that are open for travel (according to the Kayak website). It's still looking fairly bleak.

But, according to the map, Mexico is still open.

This map is wrong, I’m going to Istanbul on tourist visa next month, no quarantine or anything required.

Many other countries also open to tourists. This map outdated.

They do but not sure if you have your own parts. You can just go to tech part of any mall and someone will do it for sure. Also building it yourself is super ez. BTW you can get Win 10 Pro key on ebay for $3

I built my 1st computer like a year ago and I am not mechanically inclined at all let alone understand the inner workings of a computer. SUPER easy to do with like one hour of YouTube.

?
while almost all of the girls you will meet in pattaya are working in one way or another, if you don't normally like patts now is the time to visit. Restaurants open, mall open, bars open, beach clean and empty. its fantastic. I was getting ready to leave patts when covid hit and now I won't leave until tourism is back for sure.

whats up guys - normally wouldn't post this here but anybody know coinflipper IRL here? He's a student and friend of ours and last living in patts so obv partying fairly hard, but haven't heard from him in like 6 weeks now and know he's been involved with some pretty psycho girls. Sometimes he loses login info when crazy girls steal his computer and whatnot (seriously has happened, lol), but seems like a looong time for him to be out with zero contact - and noticed he hasn't posted here in forever as well. He's welcome to blow us off, just want to make sure he's alright. tyty

Sorry for not searching the thread, but what poker sites can you play in Thailand? Do you need VPN, and how easy or difficult are deposits and withdrawal? Thx.

I've been living in Thailand for years and using a registered Thai address for these sites with no problem, no VPN:

PokerStars
888 Poker
BetOnline
RunItOnce
Unibet
CoinPoker
GGPoker
TitanPoker
America's Cardroom

I'm sure there are other sites you can play in Thailand, this is just a list of the places I've played at. I use Neteller to deposit to PokerStars but I have a Thai address registered at Neteller. When I withdraw from Stars I withdraw to Neteller and then to a Thai bank.

Whats your opinion on Betonline and Coinpoker. Always wanted to try GG as well but never bothered since they told me I couldn't have PT4 running even if it doesn't work with their client...anyone here actually play on GG and use PT4 or HM?

I play on GG and Stars at same time using a HUD, HEM2 and have no problem. It is written in their terms that you can use a HUD for other site but not for GG.

I don't like BetOnline because there aren't enough MTTs to interest me but the ones that I've played were soft enough.

CoinPoker is great for Chinese Poker but the player base is dying and the value of CHP is going in the toilet.

That's depressing. I'm stuck in a 3rd world country(Canada) and I can't get back to Thailand.

"He spoke of the Thai government’s “very, very cautious” approach to reopening borders and said he doesn’t expect Thailand to welcome tourists until at least 2021.

“I see no signal from the government that the country will open this year. That’s putting lot of pressure on the tourism industry. The Christmas period, usually the high season, is in jeopardy and I’m looking horribly even to Chinese New Year in February, which is an iffy proposition at best now. Unfortunately, this is not a rosy picture.”

Discussions about the creation of travel bubbles have also stalled.

“Last month, there was talk about forming travel bubbles. That talk has not continued so far because of outbreaks in many of the countries we were hoping to get tourists from, including Vietnam.”

Students are not the same as tourists though.
