bolded is normally not true, especially in low-season (= after songkran is over). it's most often very full, but the girl guy ratio is ok.
just have a look for yourself. it's still the most popular place with imho the best girls. Pier is also good (but super loud) and if you're not asian, girls will mostly completely ignore you.

808 is good (mixed audience, some asians, some falangs).
flexx club is great if you're into hip hop, but it starts going very late (and is open until 8/9/10am). so your default plan for hip hop clubs should be 808 and then go to flexx club.

of the other clubs: lucifer is like a 2nd tier insomnia (sometimes it's fun, sometimes it's empty, girls in general less hot than in ibar / insomnia). red car gets going early, but girls are older (think mid30s). both are more EDM than hip hop.
Marine: gets going late, not really an opinion myself.

The sausage ratio gets worse at Insomnia every year. They didnt used to let all ethnicities in so it kept it at better numbers. Expect it to be like 3-1 with mostly old hookers who've been going there for years. You can find the occasional hot one late at night with some good fortune.

You can just stroll through Ibar do a lap around the back tables and up the stairs to Insomnia to check out the scene before deciding if u want to buy a drink.

I've never had any luck picking up girls at 808. Seems to be the big butt chubby Thai girls go to place. If you enjoy the music bringing a girl could be fun i guess. I'm sure other guys love 808 and have good luck there but for me Insomnia/ibar have been the best.

Re clinics in Pattaya, I recommend Bangkok private hospital, absolute nuts tbh I've been there 3 times since I've been here and had brilliant service every time.

Re clubs, ibar obv standard choice, don't know what people Are complaining about in terms of ratio, I've not been there during songkran but even in high season I recon it's 9 cuties per sausage easily. I've actually always told people the ratio is very very sick there.
