It's the best option you get from Bangkok, go 4am ish, come back 2pm. Border is not busy, super chill place

Hi again guys, I posted a couple times on last page regarding visa options due to my current "abuse" of tourist visa's!

After some thought, I will marry my Thai gf next month (before my current METV stamp expires). I decided to bring the marriage date forward due to potential problems at land borders when gaining a new tourist stamp with my current METV.

What I will need to do after marriage is obtain a Multi-entry Non-O as I will not be transferring 400k to a Thai bank currently due to exchange rates (I'm from UK...).

Do I need to fly out the country in order to obtain this visa, or can I drive out? What counties can grant this visa type? Any info and/or links to useful pages appreciated. I also understand that no documents are required for income proof/money in bank, but please inform me if that isn't the case in some countries. Also, how long would the process typically take once outside of Thai?

Cheers lads

Does anyone knows something about?

What about the other poker sites? Still remains open?

Thank you see you later.

Is it possible to get a Tourist visa from Tokyo? I read some posts from a few years ago saying it wasn't but nothing recent.

It wasn’t last May when I checked into it.

Yes Party Poker is leaving due to too many Euro regs living in Thailand . Anyway Pokerstars is still ok,some Ipoker skins and Microgaming if I understand correctly but most people now play the Chinese apps via agent and get thai baht to their bank account. Thats how it works now.

There is a lot of bad press on the pollution Bangkok is currently experiencing. Is it really that bad? I will be going to Hua Hin for 8 nights and finishing up my trip with 2 nights in Bangkok. The reports have me thinking I should look to avoid Bangkok. Any comments on the real situation from people there will be appreciated.

Is the air in Bangkok really any worse than it's been for like the last 10 years or is it now just being reported?
It's always been a crowded, dirty, unregulated city.
Glad it's getting some attention though. Maybe one day the govt....

I was thinking the same thing. What changed, seems as bad as it's always been.

it's often bad late or early in the year, but this looks worse.

It flared up around the same time last year, but this year was a bit worse. It's definitely not always this bad.

Some sources say that in the past, government have ordered rain making in areas where the official pollution sensors are to bring down readings. Now there's loads of private meters dotted about. Sounds a bit conspiracy theory but could be true!

I myself bought a 3M N95 face mask for going outside and also bought a low-end air purifier for the condo. Only 4888 baht, may as well. Can find them in HomePro if anyone's interested.

Think the pollution right now is rather serious health wise and urge y'all to do some research and protect yourselves until it (hopefully) gets better.

Careful those doing border runs to Cambodia, they seem to be getting even more strict at that crossing going back.

Ugh what a nightmare. Denial at a land border is still far less scary than denial at an airport, though. Being forced to buy a ticket and fly home would be truly awful.

I know if you get caught overstaying they force you to buy ticket back to home country, but if you get denied at airport can't you fly to neighbour country or back to country wherever you did go for visa run?

I've only read what other people have written, but from what I understand, you need to go back home in that scenario.

i've been trying to warn people for a while.
