arai? phukets roads are 10x more dangerous than the roads here. i don't know why i get so much flack over my driving - i only crashed my bike twice over 5 months. fletch crashed his twice in 1 day! and everyone else (besides andy - i still have no idea how that maniac never crashed

; and li - who was only here for 1 month) had at least 1 crash.

Andy crashed twice, both times sorta bad. I crashed twice but both times at like 10km/h, never even drew blood.

really? i just assumed that since he sped around the island with no helmet he never had an accident. so i guess li is the only one with a perfect record.

2 seems like the magical number for those staying ~ 5-6 months.

I think you need to show some sort of license to rent a bike. And if the cops pull you over, they will fine you if you don't have a license on you.

hahaha, ok, you have a point. but i'll counter by saying the worst drivers are the ones that crash at low speeds.

also, i only injured my head (eyebrow) and shin in my two accidents. since i've gotten back home, my shin has actually started healing properly. i don't know if it's the humidity or alcohol or combo of the both, but for some reason, wounds just do not heal in thailand.
