CashRefund works fine in Thailand. Have to have Pokerstars change you address on file to a Thailand address, which will require proof of residence. A bill will be fine.

Thailand is not set up for checking like the west. Expect any checks deposited in a Thai bank account to take about a month to clear. Receiving the check via mail could also be a problem.

Might goto Phuket for a week then come back to BKK. Whats the weather like in Phuket atm? Ok enough for snorkelling and beach stuff?
