I have double entry tourist visa, and my 90 days are up 14th Apr, whats the easiest visa run to do from Chiang Mai(not lookn for a hol), i assume i get another 90 days (60+30), when i do this, do i have to fly out or can i cross border by land. Also do i need copies of passport, photographs etc. like when extending for 30 days, is there more fees to be paid?

thanks

3. For goods, just about everything in Thailand is more expensive than the US. At best, it will be similar price. Don't come here expecting to have any fun on shopping excursions.

I thought Thailand usually had items cheaper (minus electronics). I'm actually hoping to buy some tailored goods such as suites, jackets, collared shirts. MAYBE look at some "replica" watches. But mostly just browse around. I've been international traveling before and have found that buying random souvenirs don't really contribute to anything in my room.

If anyone has any favorite items that they have purchased in Thailand let me know!

anything that is made in thailand is cheaper here. anything that is made outside of thailand is more expensive than in the west.

small yet important feedback in regards to this post. condoms in thailand come in 2 different sizes for the most part. look on the back of the box of condoms before you buy it and check the size... theres a bunch of thai writing on it but somewhere there will be a number either 48mm or 52mm. its definitely worth checking first as theres nothing more tilting than getting home to see that you accidently bought the "thai size" condom which is like wearing a tight ass pair of jeans, rather uncomfortable.

Currently filling out my visa application. There is a part on the form that asks for a reference in Thailand. Do I just leave this blank? What did you guys do?

If you are travelling with a lot of cash on you, it is much wiser to just declare it. Nothing bad will happen in Thailand, it is perfectly safe and the police at the airport are legit. You will fill out one form at the most, often none, but it will prevent any trouble.

If they do come across a significant amount if money if you did not delcare it, there will be big trouble.

There probably arent any with the same selection of good dishes, but there are speciality restaurants spread around the area. For example a place that does awesome Pad Thais, another that does the best Tom Yum and a third that does awesome vietnamese noodles etc.
go exploring!

Hey guyz, i have been in thailand for a bit more than 2 weeks now.

I took a return flight without and i'm not planning to use the return flight (was too lazy to buy a Visa etc) but i think now that if i go for a Visa run they'll stamp me for only 15 days, is that right ? Or is it 3 months ? Ty..

Did you come in on 30 day? You should be able to get extension but how long depends on what visa you came in on. I get 30 day extensions all the time but come in on 60 day

If you can get a multi entry at Hull in UK before you go thats the best route. Otherwise Cambodia or Lao after 1st 30 day is up. Chok dee.

big one carries gillette gel deoderants, though they are a bit expensive.

i think you should bring razors with you from home. the razors over here suck balls.

Because they are nationalist racists who don't like us or want us in their country.

Similar to the conservative populists in Western Countries who decry foreign investment and immigration, that is what a large majority of Thais are like.
