well any clinic should do this for about 50 baht, they're difficult to find tho' as they're rarely signposted in english. hospitals may be easier, cost slightly more but still shouldn't be anymore than 200 baht. doubt you'd need an appointment. take your passport. place i went to was Suan Phai Clinic, Muban Setthakit, Bang Phai, Bang Khae, Bangkok 10160, it's on google maps, but i'm sure you can find somewhere 5 minutes from home

i'm sure you can get all the vaccinations from bangkok

i would avoid the expensive international hospitals though if possible

I paid almost 5k for my last twinrix shot (hep a+b) at the Bangkok hospital in Phuket (didn't ask the price beforehand which was smart obv)

In Finland I paid about 40 euros (2k baht) for the same shot

hey!

me and a friend looking for a place with good, stable internet. Can I find it on the islands? Last time I was in thailand, a few years ago it was very unreliable in koh samui and phuket. I know I can find decent internet in bangkok but not sure I wanna live there.

We are looking to rent an apartment for three months with good stable internet for grind. Any thoughts?

im heading to thailand soon to begin a somewhat year long journey. i was thinking about spending about 2 weeks in bkk first and then head to chiang mai. i dont really want to stay in a hotel, just like the idea of having more than a bedroom. ive looked into some sites online but the prices seem ridiculous(more than i pay in europe). does anyone have a good tip for me on how to find a condo for 2 weeks, with internet access if possible. thanks

Mail i got from the hospital:

In response to your inquiry, please be informed that we use ENGIRIX for
Hepatitis B vaccine. You will need to see GI doctor for the consultation
and prescription. Doctor fee costs around 500 - 1,000 THB. The cost for
Hepatitis B vaccine is 656 THB / shot. Hospital fee costs 150 THB / visit.

I am sure this has been asked many times before, but :

as someone visiting(NOT LIVING IN THAILAND) should I be telling thai girls that I play poker for a living, or should i make up a job? I haven't avoided telling people in a long time, wondering if i should while I am there. If no, is it because gambling is looked down upon, or because they just wouldn't understand/aren't familiar with it?

I wouldn't say poker. poker is technicaly illegal, and though I doubt you would ever get into trouble it's still a freeroll against you

90% of the time they're not going to understand. not that they would care. you're farang, by definition you have money. how you get it doesn't matter.

Koh Chang is perfect for this... I am flying in the girl I met in Macau for a week of romance (plus the local talent in Koh Chang is a little weak - but, the euro tourists are pretty hot yet inevitably with bf).

If you come down, PM me.

Doesn't really matter what you tell them but just give them a general, "I work on the computer" and they won't ask any other questions.
