The transferring will be done from your american account so yes you need to make sure you can transfer to foreign bank accounts, which i assume all can do. Its just a question of how (online functionality or not) and the cost. Most normal banks will give you a pretty decent fx but its probably worth checking it out with a smaller transfer before doing a big one.
I transfer from my swe bank account to kasikorn for 150 baht (charged in swe) and it takes 3-4 days and fx is ok
Another way would be via moneybookers (neteller wont work in thailand) but dont really see the point of that since the fees would def be higher

are you saying you want your US bank to convert your dollars to baht and then ship the monies?

NEVER EVER do that. thai banks rates are much better. send your money in dollars and let kasikorn or whatever change them

When in doubt ask, and you'll see most of the time is paranoia. Full operated ladyboys can be a problem but there aren't many like that.

They all carry Id cards so you can always make them show you.

Your score is = 10/10

simple rule of thumb is.....

when in doubt, leave it out

if your not sure, it ain't pure

if not 100% she...its a he

See ID...but i have heard of some specific instances where they have fake ID's so best thing to do is just steer clear of anything that is questionable.

Withdrawing from MB to Kasikorn is really really cheap and you get good rates.

I'm going to Thailand in December/New Year for 3 weeks. I'm going to Phuket but will be travelling around a fair bit.

Anyone in a summary post say what places I should go see and do?

Already know a little about the night life.

you can be sure it's a ladyboy, and it's still not gay to lick her nipple while your friends take your picture and post it to facebook
