It's pretty far out of the city. Maybe 1 hours drive away or less if you are living on the east of the moat (where I am). If you live on the north west (NImmaheiman Rd, Huai Kaeo) then it's going to be well over an hour to get there.

I doubt actually living close to the gym would be much fun either, but I've never been to San Kampaeng so I could be wrong.

ok here is some more background info:

i was in koh phangan and around 11-11:30pm i am bored and decide to go for a walk having no clue where im going or where anything is. everything seemed pretty quiet, after walking for like 10 mins a girl riding her motorbike (with a little tiny dog sitting in a basket in front lol) stopped and asked me if i wanted to come with her so i said sure why not. so i get on and we start riding towards haad rin, she asks me if i want to go to a club or if i want to go to her place, i said go to her place. at some point she turned off on a dirt road that seemed to lead to the middle of nowhere, then took another side road that lead even further into nowhere/middle of the jungle.

we got to her place, which was a small cabin (basically just bedroom+small bathroom), on the backside there was a little deck you could see haadrin beach from...there was 1 other building nearby that looked abandoned, didn't see any other sign of people nearby. we went into her room, she went into the bathroom for a little bit, came out, and said "can i kiss you" so i said yes and we made out for a little bit...then she asked me if i wanted some ecstasy. i've never done any drugs in my life, never even smoked weed. she asked for some amount, i cant recall for sure but i think like 300-400 baht to get ecstasy for both of us.

so i start thinking about about all the things that could go wrong. i'd heard a lot about people taking a cut working with the police etc to bust you but, but given everything i felt that was extremely unlikely. i thought about the possibility that i take some mysterious pill and wake up on a beach somewhere minus my wallet, but i didn't have that much money or anything else important on me. and realistically i thought this was pretty doubtful too. i thought about her just stealing the money i give her, or some more elaborate variation of this. this seemed like a reasonably likely possibility, but in the end i just decided **** it im in thailand, $10 or so for some % chance of E-enhanced sex with hot thai girl is +ev enough. i also told her i didn't have a condom with me so she said she would get that too.
