Hongdae is a club haven, if you're not into that, they also have a lot of bars. It's also an art student district.
Itaewon is great for getting foreign food. Also, I like the bar B1 over there. it's got a good vibe to it.
Thanks kd and syous - I'm sure I'll play some cash games, but it's more a case as and when I feel like it, so don't have to be near Walker Hill.
At 40 I'm a geriatric for an online poker player I realise
. Anyway purely coz of my age I won't be looking to stay in the studenty type areas though I imagine I'll check out Hongdae at least one night. So from what I've read so far Itaewon sounds like the better option for me?
Music wise my taste is contemporary enough. I like Hip Hop, Techno and Jazz for when I want to chill out somewhere.
I like trying out different types of food - so Itaewon sounds good for this too - of course will be aiming to have mostly Korean food.
