Hey peeps, randomly stumbled across this site on a late night, had an AWESOME read, just wanted to say thanks haha XD
well apart from me being completely noob with threads etc =.= I also have a couple of questions to throw out there, if anyone has advice or opinions on anything then that would be awesome
First off, Im currently at University (Korean, but been living in nz since i was 2, dunno if Uni= college or high school, to me the U.S systems are like, weird :S)
and I LOVE the culture. Everything about Korea rocks, the nightlife, girls... well yeah basically the nightlife and the girls lol
Ive been going at the end of each year, but cause Ive started Uni i probs wont be able to go for around 2-3 years T_T fml -.-
I may be thinking a bit too far ahead, but imma musician studying music, and im planning on heading back to Seoul once i graduate, and joining one of the music companies there (like SM or JYP)
Basically, im wonderin if there's any peeps out there with any advice on living costs, benefits, wages etc for someone whos just graduated uni, and has entered a contract or something with one of them companies.
I know this is a poker site, but as i said, just throwing this out there
Second, as ive mentioned, ive been raised in NZ (im your average kiwiasian jaffa
) so english is my first language etc etc, but Im definately trying to learn/get into my culture a bit more (i can understand almost everything i hear, except maybe a couple of words per convo, and speaking is ok, but with a noob accent =.=, reading and writing is slow, to say the least)
Im wondering just how much id have to know about the culture to get through by myself once i move, I dont even know where to start
Finally, I dont want to give the wrong image, but Im just reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally freakin curious about the nightlife in Seoul, i read this entire blog in about 1 hr it was awesome haha. Over here in NZ, its kinda 'lights out' after 10Pm =.=, our 'city of sails' consists of one 2km street with several off branches so forgive me if i sound like a 10 year old kid, but im a bit of a party animal so im just wondering how peeps 'chill' in korea, if anyone has anymore awesome stories about crazy XD LOVE THAT GUY or advice on how not to wake up naked and missing your wallet (or not waking up at all O.O) after a solid night of drinking in korea, then please, do tell
well, thats everything on my mind atm, hope to hear from you guys soon
cheers
