A huge influx of Chinese in JeJu doesn't mean juicy plo games. =( =(

Remember the underground game I pm'ed you about?

It got busted and everyone played jn the game have been summoned for questioning or charged.

- One of the regs asked a kid who worked there to withdraw money from his card, around 11k.
- Kid ran the **** away with the money
- Guys running the game didn't want to reimburse for their mistake, rather they just banned the guy.

Why on earth would you write on a public forum that you pm someone to play in an illegal game that got busted...

Out of curiosity, why do you think you shouldn't?

true but still would like a reason to go play 25/50+ in jeju on the weekends... If anyone knows anything about legit games there, please pm me ^_^

Anyone remember if APT Seoul had any high stakes plo games going?

holy **** that everyone in the underground game got in trouble. I'm surprised kid got away w/it.

So moral of the story is, not worth it to play underground?

Is this a big thing in Korea or just the cool thing to do for koreans in philippines? When raising a bet they will just grab a random amount of chips and throw it in without even counting. Looks super strong but while I've seen it done a ton of times I haven't seen a single one called.

So is this what basically happened in poker terms?.......

Villian not in hand, (but has Hero's ATM card in hand lol) attempts a steal thats initially successful.
Hero complains to TD, but TD does not help.
Hero does a semi-bluff raise that he will go to the authorities.
TD goes into the tank, and evaluates the odds. Eventually deciding that its -EV for Hero to get himself in trouble, and reraises by banning Hero.
Hero calls by calling the authorites.
Showdown and nobody wins.

I see a bounty tournament is scheduled for Saturday at WH:

Bounty Tournament May 14th at 2pm. 215,000 won buy in. Bountys are worth 50000 won.

No mention of anything extra. I liked it better when they had an extra bonus bounty of 500k for knocking out Kevin Song. But I'm not complaining, I'm just glad the trnys are back. Come to think of it, I wonder what ever happened to him.

He was the owner right? There was a post on here a few months ago that he no longer is owning it, was forced out apparently. Probably doesn't want to be where he's not wanted, but I have to wonder the true story. Don't everyone flame me at once here, but I found that guy to be a bit slimy...put on a good happy face for the crowd but really kinda a jerk..no?

Anyone know the whole story about why he's no longer "the man" down there?

And did they move the room or not??? I've been waiting for that before returning, in fact...

He's no longer the man because he wasn't able to renew the outsourcing contract with WH.

Nothing interesting for you, mate. I know some stories I heard off from dealers and managers, but I will choose not to share them.

Yes. I thought it was going to be in its on room, but its actually on the main floor, directly across from the roulette tables, and on one side across from Three card Poker.

They had 6 tables going Friday and Saturday night. It was really great. 1/2 usually playing like 2/5, and 2/5 looked like just about everyone playing deep.

Also, I heard some table games players asking how come they can't wear headphones/use their smart phone etc., like those players just several feet away (pointing to the Texas Holdem players) lol.

Don't make me pull out the Army regulation on you, lol. One is only authorized 4 hours sleep (and it doesn't have to be all at once, lol).

Leave (vacation), sleep, breaks, even lunch, are all signs of weakness!

EDIT: Looks who's talking, Mr. 3 o'clock in the morning. lol

I looked up Mr. Song on hendonmob and he got a nice $88k score in February. I liked him, although I didn't know him personally. I hope he does well in the WSOP and wish him nothing but the best.
