Nope. But I did drive a bus round trip down there on a Sunday like a month ago. It was the most intense driving experience of my life. Serious achievement unlocked moment.

It was hit this past weekend.

(From WH FB page)

It was pocket 8s vs pocket 6s.

The flop was 6d Ah 6c giving Mr. Liu quad 6s then the turn came 8s and 8c for the river making Mr. Lang’s hand quad 8s.

Bad Beat Jackpot was at KRW 45 million and it was 6-handed game at the time.

Losing Hand (Mr. Liu, Yuming)
KRW 18,020,000

Winning Hand (Mr. Lang Corey Damase)
KRW 11,263,000

Table Share
4 Players – KRW 3,941,000 each

3.9 is sweet. Hopefully some of the regs were at the table.

Hi Loose, I have a funny story to tell you about the time I took my bus drivers test. Any chance you can make it for Saturday's tourney?

Saturday is Valentine's Day so 0% I'm doing anything other than what my gf wants. Going to the casino without her is probably grounds for castration. lol

I wish i could play the new tournament, but as loosekanen stated before, its valentintes day gotta be with my gf as well otherwise there will be a third world war, at least for me

How is the structure for the 10k monthly gtd? I mean not the price structure, i mean the blind levels with the starting stack. because the sunday gtd is more like a PoF after 1hour if u didnt get a double or tripple up early stage

Cheers for the responses to my Korean-American question. Figured it basically came down to cultural identity issues, "they look like us but act differently" and other basic communication misunderstandings, but you guys explained things really well.

Hey Everyone, nice thread, cool read and glad I just found it.

Ill be on Seoul this monday night only (arrive 930pm @ Gimpo), which casino will have more chance of tables running from 11pm onwards or will walker hill have 1-2 & 7luck have a 2-5 game?

also estimated travel time from Gimpo airport to whichever casino has a game(s)?

Yeah if you also want to get roped into white day a month later which is just another day mandatory and a more limited option of acceptable gifts.

Better to just play the American card and get it all over with in one day imo.

But technically, yes, you're right.

Step one: forget what showdown value is.

Step two: don't get there against an overpair.

Step three: become everyone's favorite donator.

If you are moving to South Korea for months or even longer, how hard is it to find a korean girlfriend as white European male? Should I learn to speak korean first or what? If you don't take looks but overall, what do korean women think about white european males?
