Don't remember if I asked you yet Syous, but will I be able to see NFL games over there? Guessing they won't be on cable there but I don't know if there is any American sports bar with satellites or wtf.. As you can probably tell I've never been outside of the United States so this probably sounds stupid but idk who else to ask

I'd imagine if you checked out the bars in Itaweon, you'd be able to find some American football.

Yeah, if you are willing to stay up in the middle of the night.

I know that even with the expanded cable package in Masan, you don't get NFL games.

-plan for the streaming. You're going to be in incheon right? I def. have no idea :P Just get a guide book, figure out the foreigners' section and hit up the foreigners bar

I'm going to Japan next weekish. The idea of ridiculously fresh sushi in the morning is too good to pass up!

greg, how much money are you able to bring back from the states..? :O I need korean money! so if you still want to buy a chunk of online money I'm interested...I'm strongly considering staying in Seoul longer again

Is Seoul a cool city to stay in if I'm visiting all alone?

do you speak korean? It's hard going anywhere in Asia if you don't speak the language. Having a friend makes it exponentially better

I do speak/understand some korean, but I'm far from being good enough, anyway if I actually decide to hit Seoul I'll work on that. The thing is that I don't have any friends with the same disponibility/money since I'm the only poker pro, so I'll have to go alone.

I've heard that S.Korea has a lot things ''made'' for two, like korean bbq or whatever, but I guess thats really a small detail.

Anyone that lurks this thread and not the other have opinions on Changwon? I'm looking to get hitched to a Hagwon there

I want a medium sized city (not as big as seoul), slightly cleaner, trees/parks abound, moderate western influence, milder temperatures (22 years of MN winters is enough for me)

I would do Seoul, but I feel other cities might match me better. I think I'd rather live in another city and travel to Seoul if the urge arises.

I'm working through gone2korea, they ask where you'd want to go, and if location is your #1 criteria. I guess we'll see if they can get me a job there, but if not I said I'd like a more mild climate, cleaner city, slightly smaller, parks/plazas, and a decent western presence.

ooh epik high, reminds me of the old days..

if you're into Korean dramas/movies, I'd recommend My sassy girl Choonhyang, vineyard man, coffee prince, my name is Kim sam soon. I haven't watched most of them, but my sis thought it was good, so if you'd probably like it too if you're a chick.

and if you like Korean movies, you can try out My sassy girl.
