How do you get more than 10k out of the country safely (and legally)?

You mean in cash? You can legally travel with any amount of cash you like, although to do it legally you will have to declare it in both countries when you leave and land and there will most likely be taxs to pay or forms to be filled out etc.

Yep I mean leaving Philippines with cash. I heard some nightmare stories from expats whilst I was there. An American leaving with 60k usd and getting it confiscated plus getting thrown in jail as well as a fine of $3k usd.

Yes prolly cus he did it the illegal way ie not declaring it. If it is genuinely your money and you can of course prove how you legally earned it then it is legal to carry any amount any where in the world, but why would you if you dont meet any of the above?

The 10K is just about the global legal limit for carrying cash without having to declare, it might vary a little from country to county but mostly 10k is fine. However make sure 10k is the max, if you even has a buck more and they find it and wanna be dicks they can give you ****!

Are there likely to be any problems leaving Phil with 20k if I declare?

Not if you can prove you legally earned it.

What if it's solely from poker?

I would guess if you can prove you won it at poke that should be fine. I am not a poker player so when you win do they give you a receipt or something? I really don't know about that.

I do not know this first hand but it was discussed far back in this thread, someone were talking about depositing live winnings into a bank account here.

Banks do not accept money without a receipt, and so it would work to get a written&signed document from the casino, stating that you won the money there.

According to what Pooter said, this would work at the airport.

However, make sure to check this to be sure beforehand.

If not, I would suggest depositing into a USD account in an international bank branch here.

There are plenty of branded cartons labeled "fresh milk", "100% fresh cow milk" etc. Nestle being the most well known IMO and might be imported, not sure. There are probably added tons of preservatives, I mean where I come from, milk has an expiration date of something like 10days and AFAIK these are likely good for months. It tastes different from typical western processed farm milk IMO. Powdered milk is somewhat popular.

You can also buy canned milk, lol

You won't be able to buy gallons or large cartons of fresh milk etc in supermarkets to my knowledge

there is probably a travel agency in davao that can do it for you, but might charge you extra for the service, im not sure on how the travel agency stuff works here cause i got a 1yr visa on arrival. to be safe you could just hit up the imm office in manila and extend right of the bat, just make sure you wear pants, they wont let you in without pants, i went wearing shorts to get some acr info and had to leave and go to sm manila and buy some pants just to get in lol.

Im also interested in joining/starting a poker house. If we can get like 3 or 4 people we could potentially start organising one ourselves??

Open to suggestions!
