As a current live reg I guess, I haven't seen this potential at all and I've heard no such stories from others. As long as it's in a somewhat civilized area the risk is really low. This is some obvious stuff however
-Don't flash your 100k/whatever bundle, especially outside the casino. Get money at the cashier and stick it in ur pocket.
-Look around while at the cashier, sometimes there will be people staring at you and talking to you after you cash out. Don't engage in conversation.
-Get a taxi from the main entrances (have the security get you one if possible).
-When people ask, don't tell them you won.
-Don't draw attention to yourself, like screaming at the top of your lungs when you win a huge pot.
-Don't stroll around in Mabini st after leaving Hyatt (lol
) or walk around alone unnecessary anywhere
-If you're playing slots or other games, even if you have people railing you in poker...in either case, when randoms just come and act friendly when you don't know them, offering to help you out or being very interested in how you're doing - ignore them completely or ask them to leave. They want
something and don't give them info on yourself
-Split a cab with a reg you trust
-Going straight from A to B when you're carrying big sums minimizes chances of losing them.
-Travel outside rush hours.
If you're gonna reg, I absolutely recommend you leave money there in deposit. You can do this at all the major places in MM. Ask the cashier.
-If you're transferring money physically, do it in smaller increments. You don't need to carry your whole roll. I would never carry more than I could "afford" losing.
-Reject random women hitting on you if that occurs (i.e not regs or employees). Chances are they like you, but yeah there are better places for picking up
